"I had a king latex mattress (very heavy!) that needed to be moved in order to put together the heavy duty metal bedframe. The room isn't large and 2 king sized items made quite the challenge to do the work. Pablo was able to determine how to efficiently go about the process. He was also professional, knowledgeable. He was able to give me options on the universal headboard bracket that was not fitting my headboard properly. I was his last job of the night which was already near 7pm when he arrived. You wouldn't know he was working late by his good attitude; hardworking , detail oriented, and communicated well. I would highly recommend Pablo"

"We are happy with the work performed by L & M Landscaping. Our backyard looks great. The team installed over 2000 sq ft. of pavers, turf and gravel. Any concerns during the build were handled quickly. Matt is passionate about this work, and prices were very fair considering they are an insured and legitimate company. -Joe M"

"When called for a flooring quote, Roland came out to take measurements, show us samples and give us flooring ideas. When we visited the store to select the flooring, we found out that Specialized also did granite counter tops. We asked Roland to return to our home to measure the counters and to also give us a granite quote. We enjoyed working with Roland and when we received competitive quotes from Roland, we decided on Specialized to do all our flooring and counter tops.
Specialized used 3 installation teams; one team each for the porcelain tile, laminate and granite. Each team was very polite and very professional. All the workers demonstrated that they were true craftsman with the material that they were installing. We highly recommend Specialized Flooring.

Pole Barn Builders questions, answered by experts

The lifespan of a barn is typically 40 to 60 years, but with skillful construction and proper maintenance, it can last up to 100 years. The actual lifespan depends on several factors, including the barn type, materials, usage, and climate. For example, the posts of a pole barn should last 50 years or longer, but if the structure is used for livestock in a rainy climate, it may rot within the first decade. Custom designs with high-end materials tend to last the longest. To get the best estimate for your barn's lifespan, you should consider its material type and intended use.

Whether pole barn posts should be set in concrete depends on the soil surrounding your home. If your soil is compact and digging conditions are agreeable, then setting pole barn posts in concrete is an ideal option.

The most common slope, or roof pitch, for a shed is 4:12 or four inches of height for every horizontal foot. For areas that experience heavy snow loads, a steeper roof of 6:12 or 9:12 is best.

The pro you need to hire to build your shed depends on the shed you purchase. A local handyman or general contractor can help build a prefab shed for you. However, if you’re looking for a custom shed, contacting a shed builder near you is the best option. Make sure you get quotes from 3 pros to decide on the best pro for your job.

Common pitfalls include underestimating the cost of site preparation, overlooking permit and utility fees, and not setting aside funds for unexpected changes. Change orders during construction can disrupt your budget. It’s best to plan a detailed budget, obtain multiple quotes, and include a 10% to 15% contingency fund for unexpected expenses.
