"I had a king latex mattress (very heavy!) that needed to be moved in order to put together the heavy duty metal bedframe. The room isn't large and 2 king sized items made quite the challenge to do the work. Pablo was able to determine how to efficiently go about the process. He was also professional, knowledgeable. He was able to give me options on the universal headboard bracket that was not fitting my headboard properly. I was his last job of the night which was already near 7pm when he arrived. "I called this company and talked to them about moving a desk, patio furniture and items in my garage as I am moving to a new home (misc stuff). The guys showed up and were punctual; however, when I proceeded to show them what I needed moved (barely a half of truck), they said that I told them I only had a couple of pieces to move and that I had a flat rate of $180.00 for two hours ($90.00 per hour) and $90.00 if it took more than two hours. My other movers were 75.00 per hour for two guys they did not have any availability for Saturday. I informed them that I did explain that this was patio furniture very light and some other miscellaneous things as well as the garage and a desk. Why would I pay 180.00 for a couple items. Well then I was met with the eye roll and I ask them if I should hire someone else and they said well we are already here. I helped them load the truck - they proceeded to drop my patio furniture on the street and didn't really seem to care. They brought everything through the house and hit the walls, when they could have used the side gate. All items from the garage we put in a neat stack on the carport for easy loading, **** ** me not on them. One hour and 10 minutes to load everything up and they were on the road to the new home (if they would have moved a little quicker then it would have been under 1 hour. Then upon arriving to the new home about 45 minutes drive time (no) they were so slow, I and my son had to help them move the items off the truck carrying very heavy items and some light so they could get back on the road. We also packed our own vehicles as to not bother the movers with any more items. They broke a bar cart that cost me quite a bit of money that I use on the patio and didn't apologize for breaking it, just said oh this is broke. This company is the worse company I have ever hired for movers and I will never recommend them to anyone else. I called the office and left a message and no one ever returned my call. I am shocked that a company like this is on Angie's list and I will not utilize Angie's List anymore if this is the type of companies that post. I have better luck with just goggle for my needs. Moving is stressful enough without having issues like this. My other movers moved my house and office, nothing ever broke and they were so nice, I tipped them 20% of my bill for the guys. I did not tip these guys and couldn't wait for them to leave. I am so disappointed with all of this and the way it went down. I will not be renewing my membership."
"David and his crew were a pleasure to work with from the start. He arrived when scheduled to take measurements and give an estimate. We originally planned to have only the countertops done and do the flooring ourselves at a later date, but David gave us a very reasonable estimate for flooring. When we decided to have them do the work, they were willing to work with us in finding the right products, and didn't change their original estimate when we decided on a slightly more expensive granite. They were also willing to make a change to our planned layout of floor tile, adding a small border in the entry that they didn't plan for. The counter top required some rework when building out the base, and the workers didn't hesitate to redo what needed to be done. There was also a glitch with the granite colors which cost a couple of days. Some of the tiles which had already been machined for edging, did not match, so had to be returned. They began the work about a week after we contracted with them, and even with the 2-day delay, the job was finished in approx. 8 days. The Specialized Flooring crew helped with moving the big furniture items and left everything clean and in great condition."
"Joe and Sal were 15 minutes early. Joe called to tell me he was onsite at my storage facility and ready when I was. I had already talked to my storage facility the day before to let them into the building if I was not there. When I arrived on site, Joe and Sal had dollies and other equipment out and ready to go!! Both men were very friendly, polite, and professional. We went up to my unit on the third floor where they quickly assessed the situation and "dug" right in moving things around. They were very careful and treated my belongings as they were their own. Sal almost immediately told me not to worry they would handle everything. I had brought my children along since I don't have daycare on the weekends and both men were friendly and polite to them as well. We (my family) went back down to the storage office to chat with the employee. Joe and Sal were done unloading my storage unit and loading the truck in approx. 45 minutes. My unit was not completely full, but still overwhelming enough for me to move by myself. We loaded up and met at my apartment, where once again both men were quick, attentive, and careful moving my belongings into the apartment. Everything was unloaded and placed where I asked it to be in approx. another 45 minutes. They even put a dresser in my closet as I had asked. It was a tight fit but they did harm the wall or dresser. Big PLUS!! They were going to put another dresser in the second closet, however I declined because upon further inspection I would not have been able to open the drawers with the doors still on :) Joe and Sal both made complete assurance that they had done everything I needed them to do. My living room was completely full of boxes and totes, this seemed disconcerting to them, but I assured them I could handle all of it. All in all everything went smooth as silk and I could not have asked for a more co-operative, careful, and friendly company to move my belongings. I hope Joe knows he will be getting a phone call from me again in a year. Although, his company will be moving my ENTIRE apartment then. :) It was a pleasure. Thank you."
