"We called Jose to do a massive clean up with our three yards, three trees and two bushes. Not to mention mowing, trimming and cleaning up all the rock. He came out the same day for a free estimate. He even knocked off some money off after the original estimate. Showed up the next day and knocked it all out in 3.5-4 hours!!! He & his team did an AMAZING job! We want to hire him again to re-sod too. Definitely recommend!"

"We hired Chips to trim and degird the roots of a tree, replace our irrigation system, deep feed our trees, and replace the rock in the yard beds. They were outstanding. Their office staff were responsive and consistently sent reminders for upcoming appointments. The workman were great and their supervisors were knowledgeable and available for consultations. We plan to use them in the Fall to add plantings to our back yard. We enthusiastically endorse them."

"This company was one of the professional ones. Their pricing was reasonable and work to the customer needs. There was no scare tactic and upsell. Unfortunately, I didn't hire them because I opted to do it on my own. Just wanted to share my experience."

Sand Rock Delivery questions, answered by experts

Small gravel is the better option since it creates a stable, even surface that’s easier on paws and hooves. Large gravel can be uncomfortable and may shift too much underfoot. So if you’re using gravel in pet or livestock areas, go for smooth, rounded small gravel to prevent injuries and discomfort.

The hydroseed mix—known as a slurry—helps grass seed take root in many ways. Water combines with the mulch, allowing the grass seed to stay moist while grounded in the soil. The extra fertilizer then provides the boost the seed needs to flourish. In just a few weeks, you'll be ready to break out the lawnmower again.

Key considerations include dust control, soil erosion prevention, and protecting local wildlife habitats through sustainable clearing practices.

Replace organic mulch every one to two years, depending on the variety. Wood chips and straw, for example, will last a couple of years, while grass clippings and pine needles need replacing every several months. Inorganic mulch—such as rock and rubber chips—can stay in place for up to four years, depending on erosion and general garden upkeep.

How much 4 yards of dirt will cover depends on how deep you want the soil to be. In general, a yard of dirt will cover 324 square feet for a 1-inch depth or 100 square feet for a 3-inch depth. Therefore, you can expect 4 yards to cover between 400 and 1,296 square feet if you keep your soil depth between 1 and 3 inches.
