"Mr J did a great job they come take out carpet install new one and clean up really good and even they ask if was pleased with they work before I pay. Nices crews fair pricing thank you so Much"
"Prompt and professional service, the crew were very friendly and polite, they completed the work as contracted in less than 4 hours. We had 3 beams and 9 jacks installed. They were careful to protect our hardwood floors and cleaned after installation. Our only criticism is the crew were not wearing masks and our door was frequently left open."
"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
"They were very professional and completed the jobs at the time they said they would. I’m looking to install more cameras and I will be using millennium again!!"

"I had 25 LG solar panels installed by Sunpro this year and they did a fantastic job. The communication was great and the install crew was very professional. It's been awesome watching our electric bill go down!"
"Well, they were late. Didn't bring a ladder, but I have an extra that another contractor left here, so I had one they could use. Cleaned the gutters, which required removing the gutter covers/ leaf preventers (hah!) and then re-installing them.
Unfortunately, about 3 weeks later we had some pretty strong winds and 3 of the gutter covers blew off. I hadn't gotten around to re-installing them when they came to install the Christmas lights, so they put them back on for me.
Also, they didn't turn the water off when they were through. A couple weeks later the POA came by to tell me I had a water leak; well , no, the fools had left the water running. My water bill was triple that month. Sheesh.
So, yeah, I wouldn't have made the same mistakes if I'd done it myself, but I really don't want to be on the roof where it's a two-story drop and there's no one here to watch. So I'll probably use these folks again, but I also know to check EVERYTHING before they leave."

Finding a reputable contractor for an egress window installation involves researching and vetting potential candidates. Start by searching for local professionals, reading customer reviews, and checking their websites for a portfolio of their work.
Once you have a shortlist, ask the following questions to ensure they are qualified:
• Are you licensed and insured?
• What experience do you have installing egress windows?
• Can you provide references from previous customers?
• Do you perform the work yourself or use subcontractors?
• What is the estimated project timeline and your current schedule?
• How do you handle payment?
Yes, egress windows can significantly add value to a home. By making basement and attic areas safer and more livable, they allow you to market these spaces as finished living areas, which increases your property's value. Many homeowners can recover the full installation cost, with some sources citing a return on investment of around 70%. The exact value added depends on your specific home, location, and adherence to local building codes. Beyond financial value, egress windows enhance functionality by adding natural light and comfort. They are also a crucial safety feature, often mandated by building codes to serve as an emergency exit.
Expect excavation below grade, creating a well for access, weatherproofing, and thorough inspections during setup.
Yes, you can always make an existing window bigger, but the job complexity varies widely depending on the location of the window and the framing around it. Exterior walls are always load-bearing, so making windows wider will require structural changes that make for a more complex but doable project. Making windows taller often won’t require structural changes.
The entire window replacement process, from the initial consultation to the final installation, typically takes between four and 15 weeks. This timeline accounts for measuring appointments, ordering, and manufacturing. On the day of the job, the physical installation takes about 30 minutes to two hours per window. A full-house replacement can take one to three days to complete. Factors that can extend this timeline include the total number of windows, custom sizes, complex window types, second-story installations, and any necessary repairs to existing window frames or openings.
