Great job--nice guys. They are very knowledgeable and provided several options for my situation. Were finished within an hour.
Details: I seriously believe the adage, "Someone up there must like me!" regarding my hardwood floors. I had explored numerous options for the floors during my complete remodel of this old house. I could not find a reliable repair service for the damaged 30 sq ft boards. Nor could I find a suitable DUST FREE hardwood floor refinisher at a reasonable price. Just when I was deciding to put down vinyl, I saw Jeff Head's truck down the street working on a 100 year old damaged wood floor. The results down the street were spectacular!
I called Jeff's number from the side of his van. We discussed my needs and he showed up the next morning right on time (5 min early.) He presents very well: experienced, competent, and honest. He gave me a written estimate on the spot and agreed to begin the next week.
Jeff and his adult son arrived right on time to begin the job. He always went the extra yard as seen by his culling through my replacement boards to get the best match and then "feathering" them in to hide the repair. The repaired 27 sq ft area is not detectable without prior knowledge. One room had some 3 sq ft of "cupped" boards likely from a defective hot water heater in the 1970's. He was able to smooth them and they, too, are not detectable.
I put in a new air filter prior to his work and changed it upon completion. I was surprised to see how clean the filter was. His system is realistically dust free.

I want to update my review. After posting this, I received a call and a visit it my home. They answer all of my question about everything from where my information could have gotten to an outside person, where the estimate amount came from, what they had done to my fireplace, and why it took so long for them to get back. (this was because they had to dig deeper then they normal would have). I also received copied of the proposal dated 6/14/13 and a copy of the invoice.
I appreciate the extra attention I received in making this right, becauses they did not have to do anything for me they had already been paid in full for the services, but they did want to have a "happy" customer.
Happy customer !!! I would use them again.
From their web site I ask for a "Free Estimate" and gave them a brief note of what our problem was and that we live in the Hazen, AR area and in the country. This was done on 4/1/13. Shortly after we recevied a phone call with all the information I had listed on my request. What wen did not know is that this person was not from Foundation Pro he was from Hall engineering. He came a did all the inspections and with in a few day I received the results of what they had found. It the time we had someone else coming to give and estimate also. After receiving the 2nd estimate that was realy high and we had to do some if the work, I went back to Hall eng and ask what the estimate would be in the repair. He said he would call Bob at Foundation Pro and came back with the price if $1900.00.
Shortly after I received and e-mail bill for Hall eng for $450.00 for the estimate...."not so FREE".
This is now 5/14/13 and I still have not seen Foundation Pro....after several week of emails they finally showed up, I was told they would have to dig out the dirt under the fireplace and put concrete and then jack it up.

Concrete repair costs range anywhere from about $0.10 to $0.15 per linear foot to fill minor cracks, to about $6 to $14 per square foot to replace damaged concrete slabs. Repair costs vary widely depending on the size and type of work needed. For example, replacing 100 square feet of driveway will cost between $600 to $1,400, on average.
The average cost of stamped concrete is around $12 per square foot, but you might pay anywhere from $8 to $28 per square foot. The average 12-foot by 12-foot patio costs $1,730 on average. Your exact pricing will depend on the patio’s square footage, the condition of the area where you want to pour the concrete, the desired stamp pattern, concrete coloring, concrete grade, and local labor prices. Don’t forget to budget for extra costs like land preparation and additional concrete fortifications if necessary.
Depending on the cost to repair your driveway, it may be more cost effective to tear out and replace it with a new concrete driveway. The cost to repave a driveway ranges between $1,400 and $12,100, including removal of the old concrete. Contact a reputable concrete contractor for advice and an estimate. They may have a good reason for going with repairs or replacement after assessing your driveway. You may also have the option to resurface your driveway or pave over it without taking out the existing one.
It’s possible to create stamped concrete yourself, but we don’t recommend it and it’s often not cost-effective. It’s easy to mess up the pattern of a stamped concrete patio or walkway, leaving you with an unsightly home exterior rather than the elegant solution you wanted. Any mistakes made during the ground leveling and concrete pouring process will also increase the risk of cracks forming on your concrete. Additionally, buying enough stamps to get the pattern in before your concrete cures can cost as much as hiring a professional to do the work for you.
Concrete contractors typically charge anywhere from $6 to $14 per square foot. Cost factors include job size, site prep, base material, accessibility, your location, concrete finish, and concrete thickness. Removal of existing concrete, asphalt, deck, pavers, and grass will cost anywhere from $1 to $6 per square foot. Homeowners can often save money by removing and disposing of existing pavers, decks, and grass. Breaking up and hauling away concrete and asphalt is difficult and time-consuming without the proper equipment and may be worth having the pros do that work.
