Started the buisness for a while right out of high school. Began at apprentice school and worked with contractors soon after within the big jobs in the big cities. After getting lots of experience I decided to be my own boss and create my own electrical company! As a result, I have been doing amazing work ever since! Text me so we can work soon.\n\nEmail: [email protected]\nCell: (479) 531-3920

"I had a list of projects that had been building over time - replacing can lights with LED fixtures, diagnose and replace GFI, diagnose lost power to my pond, install replacement security lights, find short in indoor outlet. Their office manager, Jenny, contacted me the same day to set an appointment with their estimator. He arrived at the time arranged and went through my entire list, even suggested how we could reduce the cost by starting with one phase of lighting improvement to see if that met my needs -- and it did! When the technician came for our appointment, he was prompt, communicated with me about what he was going to do, and got the job done efficiently and to my satisfaction. This is an excellent company and I wouldn't consider using anyone else in the future."

Landscape was very overgrown.  Came in and completely transformed by clearing and trimming overgrown plants and removing dead and dying trees.  Showed up on time worked until job was complete.  It was a complete transformation.

"I purchased 4 hours of service through the Arkansas Daily Deal.  When I called to schedule my service I was informed that the 4 hours of service I had purchased did not include going into the attic that there would be a minimum charge of $75.00 for that, therefore, I purchased  a led retrofit light from Home Depot so they would not have to go into the attic.  When he arrived he said that it would not work that he would have to install a new can light that he had on his truck and he would have to go into the attic to do so.  He charged me $48.00 for your basic can light and $75.00 additional labor.  Since I had already paid $99.00 it cost me $232.69 for your basic can light and about 45 minutes of labor.  I would never call them again.

Lighting questions, answered by experts

Although security lighting may not deter a determined burglar, its presence will make your property that much less enticing to would-be trespassers. When paired with other types of home security systems like alarms and surveillance cameras, strong lights will better help you and the authorities identify thieves in the instance they attempt to break in or succeed at doing so.

If you’ve gone through the troubleshooting checklist for your motion detector flood light and it’s still not working, it’s time to consider a new one. Older models that need frequent fixes can be unreliable. Newer flood lights feature advanced technology that improves your lights’ sensitivity and overall performance. If you’re fed up with unexpected darkness, investing in a new light can give you the lighting you need to feel secure.

There are tons of different types of landscape lighting available, including the choice between solar and wired, incandescent and LED, and a variety of colors. Specific types of lighting include:

  • Pathway lights: $50–$150 per fixture

  • String lights: $50–$150

  • Low-voltage lights: $90–$150 per fixture

  • Porch lights: $65–$250 per fixture

  • Floodlights: $75–$250 per fixture

  • Downlights: $100–$400 per fixture

  • Uplights: $100–$400 per fixture

  • Security lights: $ 350–$500 per fixture

  • Lamp posts: $400–$1,100 per lamp post

Yes, outdoor lights and receptacles should be on a ground-fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) for safety. The outdoors is considered a wet location where GFCI protection is generally required. A GFCI enhances safety by automatically tripping and shutting off the circuit if it detects an imbalance, which protects against electrocution and reduces the risk of an electrical fire. While it is the safest approach for all outdoor electrical components, specific requirements can vary depending on the type of light (e.g., pool lights), its location, and local electrical codes. For guidance tailored to your specific situation, it's best to consult a professional electrician.

If half of a string of Christmas lights is out, it is likely because of a single burned-out, loose, or broken bulb within that section. Long strands of lights often contain more than one circuit, so when one bulb fails, it can cause the entire circuit (or half the strand) to go dark. To fix this, inspect the unlit section and test each bulb to ensure it is tight and functioning properly. Replacing the faulty bulb or repairing a damaged shunt will typically solve the problem.
