"They installed 200+ feet on mulch beds, cut rock tree rings/beds, 18 small trees, 4 large trees, 32 small shrubs and grasses, a gravel drainage area, and a decomposed granite area for a freestanding fire pit. They did an excellent job at a fair price. Very professional and responsive. Will not hesitate to hire them again."

"Honest, upfront and a true professional. I have him give me estimate. The job was reshaping a long driveway and leveling a 12'x15' patch of ground to place a shed on. He came in the next morning and got it done right. He is a very personable guy, even tho he's ex Army. LOL.."

"Over the past several years Advanced Construction, headed up by Dan Diaz, completed several projects at my house in Cambria, CA. The first project was a major, major success. Dan discovered the source and repaired a leak into my house that plagued me for years. He succeeded where others cost me a lot without solving the problem. Advanced Construction also proved invaluable preparing my Cambria house for sale during 2021. He and his son replaced doors and nearly all the windows in the house. They also made major repairs to deck beams. What he charged was reasonable and well worth it. You can count on Advanced Construction for new construction, renovations and repairs to your house or business. Dan is truly skilled, professional, and reliable."

Excavating questions, answered by experts

General contractors handle site preparation, land clearing, and rough grading for new construction in Rogers. Underground specialists manage deep trenching for water, sewer, and gas lines. You will need foundation experts to resolve complex drainage issues around basement walls in heavy clay soils. Septic professionals manage drain field replacements, while geotechnical experts investigate the ground for hidden voids. Hire landscaping professionals for surface drainage corrections and minor excavating tasks.

Helpful?

Always contact the state utility marking service two full business days before any ground disturbance to locate buried lines. You must also secure all required municipal permits for foundation work, retaining walls, or sewer connections. Research your property history in AR to identify abandoned septic tanks or hidden cisterns. Assess the soil for hard gravel layers or limestone voids, and verify all neighborhood regulations before starting your excavating project.

Helpful?

Start your inspection routine in late winter by checking the foundation and retaining walls for frost heave damage. During the heavy spring rains in AR, walk your yard to map out pooling water and active drainage failures. In the summer, inspect the ground for deep soil cracks caused by dry clay. Clear all drainage outlets in the fall to prepare your property for November rainstorms. Schedule any necessary excavating during the dry summer months.

Helpful?

Look for ground depressions or sudden sinkholes, which occur in Rogers due to the local limestone geology. You should also watch for leaning retaining walls or cracked driveways caused by shifting clay soils. If you notice sewage odors in older neighborhoods or recurring wet basements after heavy rain, hire a local professional to assess the site. These issues require excavating for proper drainage correction or void filling rather than simple surface repairs.

Helpful?

Newer homes in Rogers face initial soil settling, requiring minor grading corrections and downspout drainage adjustments. As properties reach ten to thirty years old, tree roots infiltrate buried lines, and original perimeter drains fail. For homes over thirty years old, older clay sewer lines collapse entirely, and limestone voids create severe ground subsidence. Address these aging infrastructure issues promptly by hiring a professional to handle the required excavating and line replacements.
