"I called several companies trying to get some time sensitive work done before an inspection. I was feeling embarrassed about the state of things and they were very kind and non-judgmental. It's a great kindness they showed me. The way they spoke to me was kind and respectful and personable. I would definitely hire them again, and then yet again. I appreciate them greatly"

"I put a listing on Home Advisor at approximately 5pm on a Sunday afternoon. They called within 5 minutes and stated that they will be at my house between 6pm and 6:30pm. They arrived around 6:30pm and had the waste materials loaded and were gone by 7:20pm. They did a good job."

"These guys were great!! We had a delivery of a massive new front, all in one piece, very heavy. They handled it of total care and stored it in our garage with all the very long trim pieces for installation next day. Kind of an unusual item to deliver so was concerned about the glass, scratching, damage. Again, 5-star handling and very pleased!!"

Contact your local municipality to request garbage collection services. In most areas, your local city or municipality manages garbage collection, which contracts a waste collection company to do trash collection and other garbage collection and disposal services. However, if you can’t wait for the next trash collection day, you can also contact a local junk removal service to come and haul away your garbage. Confirm with any junk removal companies what items they will take. If you’re renovating your home or have a lot of garbage to get rid of, consider renting a dumpster.
The cost of junk removal services for private garbage collection factors in wages for labor, the cost of maintaining and operating vehicles and trailers to haul garbage to a dump or recycling center. Landfills also charge a fee to dump garbage, which varies depending on what kind of waste it is.
A garbage collection pro or junk removal company can typically take anything from a single item such as refrigerator to the entire contents of a house or out-building being emptied. One exception is disposing of hazardous waste (like bleach or used oil), which is typically handled by your municipality. Check reviews, references, and qualifications of any company you hire to collect garbage. Ask what the company’s limitations are, what tools and equipment they use, and their availability.
Disposing of old paint, bleach, oil, and fertilizer should be handled by a company that specializes in this kind of waste. Many private junk removal companies do not dispose of these items. Because these materials are hazardous to the environment and dangerous to handle or dispose of improperly, you should confirm with your local municipality about places to take hazardous materials for safe disposal.
