"This provider is a class act. I had a quote from them and decided to use someone else. BAD IDEA!!! To make a long story short, I called JR and asked him if he could help me out of a bad situation. He even came to my house on a Sunday to check on the situation I was in. Then, the next day JR and his crew showed up, poured and finished the concrete and took all my stress away. This is a company that seems to strive on customer satisfaction. They did an awesome job and would highly recommend them to anyone needing patio pads, sidewalks or driveways. Thanks again Planit Dirt, deeply appreciated."

"Very professional and explained everything he was done before he did it. I had a TV taken down from a house and installed at my apartment. I am very satisfied with the work that was done."

"I recently had my porch done by Sedillos Construction, and I couldn?t be happier with the results. He was very professional from start to finish, communicated clearly throughout the project, and delivered excellent workmanship. The pricing was affordable and fair, especially for the high quality of service provided. I highly recommend Sedillos Construction to anyone looking for reliable and skilled work."

Patios questions, answered by experts

Increases living space and adds value to the home through enhanced utility.

Building a sunroom is usually less expensive than the cost of building a home addition, but it depends on the type of sunroom. A four-season sunroom will cost more than a home addition because it’s basically a home addition with larger, more expensive windows. All other types of sunrooms will be more affordable than a home addition of an equivalent size because they don’t have insulation, heating, cooling, electrical connections, or plumbing.

A professional can design and construct sunrooms or patio enclosures that meet structural standards, optimize environmental conditions, and integrate seamlessly with existing architecture. This ensures the project enhances home value and provides long-term enjoyment.

A prefab sunroom will last for between 10 and 20 years in most cases, although you could get up to 50 years out of a high-quality prefab sunroom. In addition to material quality, your prefab sunroom’s lifespan will depend on the foundation type and the climate in your area. Extreme weather and expansive soil can decrease the expected life.

The average cost to enclose a patio to create a sunroom is around $5,000, and prices generally range from $3,000 up to $10,000. The price you pay will depend on the state of your patio and whether it needs repairs or additional structural support, the quality of the materials you choose, the size of your patio, and whether you plan to run utilities into and finish the sunroom. The price for a fully finished patio enclosure could run up to around $20,000, while you might pay just $2,500 for a screened-in porch.
