"The answering service I got on my first call didn't get the message to the business but on my second call I was able to talk to someone at Handyman Matters directly.  She was extremely polite and had an appointment set up within a few days.  Jeff Robison was the craftsman who came out to look at my floor and give me an estimate. He was very professional and very helpful in giving me my options for repair versus replacement; because I couldn't locate anymore of the original tile I opted for repair.  Jeff was great at maintaining communication and scheduled an appointment for the repair within a week and a half.  He showed up for the repair right on time and completed everything the same day.  Because I work at night this really helped with my schedule.  He cleaned up as best as could be expected (you get a little dust with tile/grout removal) and left me with a great result at a reasonable price.  He was also nice to my cat!  I will definitely call Handyman Matters with any future home repair needs."

"Install was easy. Up front cost was pretty low with Angie's List coupon. Monthly price is a little high compared to competing companies. Response time with alarms is excellent. I was advised to use glass break alarms within 10 ft of my first floor windows, which we installed correctly. I asked prior to installation if having one in the kitchen would cause false alarms due to dishes clanging, etc. I was told the glass break alarms are configured to a precise frequency that alarms with breaking glass. So, not a "no", but not really an answer. Well, every time we cook dinner, wash dishes or empty the dish washer, the kitchen glass break alarm gives a warning which would sound the alarm if it was set. This has caused us a number of false alarms while we've been away due to shifting bowls or plates in our drying rack. For the first several we've had to pay our police department $120 to check the house, and I was only notified after the first alarm that there was a cheaper option for a security company to drive by to check for a break in."

"They system was installed for the basic, but anything that you wanted needed to be higher upgraded require alot of extra money for every upgrade.
 The 36.99 monthly fee was for only if your system is connected to a landline. I didnnt notice that they charge me $44.99 until my 1st month fee. Thats when I was told that they charge $44.99 because the alram was connected to my cable line instead. I was unaware of the different charges. When tec came out he didnt show up to fix the corrected. Had to call the main company for the no show. So they schedule another appointment and offered 2 window alarms to fix the correction but my bill still is $44.99. Default is that since I didnt have extra money to upgrade to the Pulse, you dont know if you turn the alarm to your house properly. I called the 800 number and they cant tell either!
