"I cannot recommend this business highly enough! I had to hire them because the last so called professional business chain pest removal did not remove the animals or fix the roof damage even though they were happy to take my money. The wonderful people at Natural State Wildlife Solutions did a VERY thorough examination of the property and animal damage. They gave me a multi tiered quote and explained the services fully. The prices were reasonable and fair. It was very evident that the care, safety, and protection of the animals was a priority. Everyone in the business knows the laws in our state and strictly enforces them. They were kind, supportive, and incredibly efficient at what they do. This was probably some of the best customer service I have ever received. I felt very well taken care of and so were the animals that I had removed. Top notch quality in every category....there's no reason to call any other company, this is the only one you need."

If the cat is stray (you noticed a collar or other signs of domestication), the kind thing to do is to try and find the owner. Call around to other neighbors to see if they can lead you in the right direction. If you can get close enough to snap a picture, try posting an image of the cat to local community groups and pages on social media.

Plus, you're putting yourself at greater risk using these techniques if it goes wrong and the now-angry snake is venomous.

Attempting to squish a scorpion by hand or foot isn’t a good idea, as many can flatten themselves and survive a simple strike—plus, they’ll be provoked and very likely to sting. Instead, it's best to use a sharp or heavy object to pierce or crush the exoskeleton with force. Always wear protective clothing, including thick gloves, pants, and closed-toe shoes, to avoid being stung. Use long tweezers, scissors, or a knife to pierce the exoskeleton or crush it with a heavy object, making sure to twist or press down firmly to ensure the scorpion is truly dead.

As with anything ingested by animals, there is always a chance that mushrooms will be toxic. Clearing the tops of mushrooms from the soil to prevent them from being eaten by pets is always a good idea. Since poisonous mushrooms can be deadly, we recommended that any mushroom ingestion is treated as a veterinary emergency. Watch for signs of lethargy and digestive distress in any animal suspected to have eaten a mushroom and contact your vet immediately.
