"Mr. Carroll came out and we discussed what needed to be done. He spoke in a language that I understood and didn’t try to talk over my head. Stated he would get back with me in a couple of days with estimate, which he did. Workers came out as promised did exactly what they said they were going to do. Cleaned up the mess. Haven’t had one problem out of anything that they have done. I referral this company to everyone I know."

"I had a great experience working with Angel, he was punctual, professional and great guy to work with. He took down my Queen bed and assembled a King bed, hung curtain rods, put a 9 foot rug under my bed and cleaned the area with a vacuum, if you want a professional, Angel is the person to call thanks Angel"

Customers say: Quick response

"We hired Hales Home Repair after getting the run around from several other contractors. Arthur actually showed up, gave me a bid and then actually showed up to do the work. He didnt mind answering my thousands of questions and made us feel so at ease with the end result. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for quality work."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

Rectangular pools are the most popular inground pool shape, due to their adaptability to different uses, from swimming laps to hosting parties. These pools can easily include other sought-after features, such as tanning ledges, waterfalls, sport nets, and more. Rectangular pools are also often easier to install and maintain, and prefabricated rectangular pools generally have a shorter installation time, so you can start enjoying your pool faster.

With a regular pool, the water is contained by visible walls that are higher than the water level. An infinity pool has one or more walls that are right at the waterline so they're not truly visible. For an invisible look, the lower wall is often made of glass or clear acrylic. The water laps over the lower edge and into a catch basin below where it gets pumped back into the pool.

Off-season pool-building prices often align with the time of year you're least likely to use a pool. Many contractors offer deals in the late fall and winter to bolster the slow time of year. However, if you live in an area with freezing winters, you'll need to wait beyond the final frost and threats of extreme weather.

While you can use a grounding rod when bonding an in-ground pool, that’s necessarily the best option. A grounding rod is an older grounding method that’s not usually used anymore, thanks to modern electrical design and services. Again, if you don’t have electrical experience, your best and safest bet is to hire a pool electrician.

Home inspectors only check swimming pools if they have expertise in that area. During a standard home inspection, they focus on the house’s structure, roof, foundation, electrical, plumbing, and other components. If they examine your pool, they’ll check the pump and heater. If you want a thorough pool inspection, hire a pool inspection specialist.
