"I contacted Sharon on Monday to set up a schedule for the work to be performed.  She had already provided me an estimate when I had them clean out my dryer vent last year.  She said that they could come and do the work on Friday, and since I had two systems, it would probably require two days.   I agreed and she said that they will be there at 8am.   They showed up promptly at 8am and proceeded to prep the house for the work.  While Sharon laid out tarps underneath each of our vents, Steve set up the equipment on the system that covers the sleeping areas of our house.  The other system covered our living areas and they saved it for the next day.   The first day they found that all but one of the ducts in the system had mold in them.   After cleaning and treating them for the mold, they called it a day.  To think that that mold was being circulated in my home was a disturbing thought.  I'm glad it was taken care of and eliminated.   They came back the next morning and finished doing the other system's ducts within 3 hours.  After dismantling their equipment, I asked if I could take a picture of the filter basket that collected what was in our ducts.  It was full of every kind of dust and insulation particle and who knows what else.   I was very satisfied with their work and professionalism.  I would use them again and would recommend them to anyone that needed their ducts professionally cleaned.

Patio Covers questions, answered by experts

Fabric awnings provide shade, reduce energy costs, and enhance outdoor aesthetics.

Awnings offer a variety of materials to choose from, each of which has its own benefits. Cotton is a lower-cost option that’s also more eco-friendly because it’s made from natural materials, while acrylic-coated polyester and vinyl offer better durability against harsh weather. Fiberglass and metal are also resilient to weather, although metal can be vulnerable to corrosion without protective sealant. Ultimately, you’ll need to consider your climate and your budget in deciding the best material for your awning.

Durable materials suited for climate include aluminum for coastal areas or composite wood in varying environments for durability and minimal upkeep.

Awnings are either fixed or retractable and can be paired with a variety of cover materials. Fixed awnings are a permanent outdoor feature of a building. These are highly durable and require ongoing maintenance. Once installed, the position of this awning cannot be changed.

Retractable awnings are more popular than fixed awnings since the cover can open and close. This allows homeowners to open and close the awning, depending on the weather. When not in use, it can be closed to allow for extra space.

The cheapest material for covering a tennis court is rubber or clay. Rubber needs to be installed over a concrete or asphalt base, however, which can make the project more expensive up-front (but cheaper to resurface over time). Clay courts are among the most affordable, but they aren’t the best to play on and require a lot of maintenance.
