"Marcus was awesome! Very trustworthy and always does quality work. We had seen some total transformation renovations he has done on other properties. So when we were renovating our home, we brought him in on several projects. He painted interior walls & trim. He also helped remove a wall between our kitchen and living room, did plumbing, lighting, garage shelving, door & window installation, floor tile, hung beadboard on a wall and ceiling & helped build a huge deck. One thing great about Marcus is he is extremely creative and has a keen design eye. He always had great ideas throughout our remodel. Finally, Marcus is a problem solver. When we weren't sure how we could get something to work or what to do, Marcus can always figure out a way. On top of he came up with several ideas to make working on a project more efficient saving time and money. We highly recommend Harris Renovations!"

"Helped me with some renovations around my house. Very good with communication and getting things done. Very smart and knowledgeable about pretty much everything. It was nice not having to hire different people to do multiple things. For example : new walls, painting, installing new doors and frames, etc. Got things done in a timely manner and did an amazing job!! Definitely will hire again!!!"

"We hired Kenco for residential siding work. They were on time, fast and efficient, and we were fully satisfied with everything that was done. Immediately after this was done , we recommended them to our in-laws and they also hired Kenco. What an excellent experience!"

Window Door Contractors questions, answered by experts

There are a number of ways to secure windows. You can add motion detectors or window sensors to detect movement and impact or change the window locks to make them stronger. Some of the ways you can secure windows are much like how you secure a home: closing the curtains at night and setting up security cameras outside so you can monitor your property even in your absence.

Window screens can help keep some heat out of your home, which is one benefit of using them in summer. It’s also the reason experts suggest removing your screens in winter—so it’s easier for the sun’s warmth to filter into your home. This will keep you cozier and potentially reduce your heating bills.

No, but removing window screens will achieve a deeper clean. If you aren’t sure how to remove your screens, you can still clean them while in your window. You can follow the same cleaning steps, but you may not be able to get into corners or struggle to clean the entire screen if the window is up high.

Among the various entry points into your residence, it's crucial to recognize that your basement windows are arguably the most susceptible. Basements usually have windows facing the side and back yards, often concealed from driveway floodlights, porch lighting, and doorbell cameras. Their vulnerability underscores the importance of reinforcing basement window security to safeguard your home from break-ins.

Drafts, condensation between panes, difficulty operating, or visible frames or glass damage are signs of needed repairs.
