"The Sales Rep for Custom Stone made immediate contact with me. Instead of doing a complete remodel I decided to do an upgrade by installing Granite in my kitchen and bath. Even though it was quite a bit less $'s spent, both the Owner and Sales Rep treated me as if I was their only customer. After choosing a stone, the installers were excellent. While no countertop material is truly “heatproof,” granite countertops are extremely resistant to high temperatures. Some types of granite can withstand temperatures up to 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit.
