We have an A+ BBB rating and have had since we have been in business. We charge $70.00 an hour for regular hours service calls while many of our competitors say they charge only $50 or $55 an hour they have a minimum of 2 hours. Most of our service calls are repaired in an hour or less and that includes cleaning condenser coils as part of our 1st hour service. This is necessary to properly diagnose refrigerant charge levels. Air Duct Cleaning questions, answered by experts

You may be interested in moving a return air vent as an alternative to adding a new one. You can technically move return air vents, but you should always consult an HVAC professional before doing so. Moving your return air vents can disrupt your HVAC system's airflow and may require that a pro make adjustments to the ductwork. Moving the vents as a DIY project could damage your HVAC system and cause it to work improperly.

You can experience respiratory problems if your return air vents are dirty. While this doesn’t necessarily mean dirty return air vents will make you sick, they can exacerbate symptoms of respiratory illness, such as sneezing, wheezing, and coughing. This is due to the extra contaminants in the air, which may include allergens and dander that can affect people with allergy sensitivities.

Unfortunately, you probably don’t have much legal recourse if you think you’ve been scammed by an air duct cleaning company, but there are some actions you can take. Your first order of business should be to report the issue to the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Your complaint will show up to other customers doing research and, ideally, prevent the scammer from getting to other homeowners. You can also leave a negative review on online review sites. If you got scammed out of a large amount of money, you may want to seek legal counsel for advice.

Air vents should never be blocked. It can disrupt the airflow in your home and make rooms too stuffy, hot, or cold. If the vents are blowing out cold air when you want hot air, covering the return vents won't solve the problem. You either have a dirty air filter, furnace problems, or, more than likely, leaky air ducts that need sealing.

The simplest way is opening the windows so that stale air or fumes can easily escape and fresh air flows in. If opening your windows isn't an option, ceiling fans and box fans can clear particles out and get the air moving. Air purifiers can also clean the air while making it circulate better.
