"Mr Fix It did a great job finishing a couple simple repairs that I could not do myself since I live out of State. When you manage properly from 3 States away, you need a good Handyman to take care of your tenants needs."

"My husband and I are in our 70's and have never used Angi. We needed some work done that we weren't physically able to do. We entered our information on Sunday night, received a call on Monday morning and Mr. Riley and a co-worker came by to see what was going on. They came back that same afternoon and replaced the three porch posts that were rotten on the bottom from sitting on the concrete. They stained the posts and cleaned up our yard. They were professional, personable and very kind. I am so proud to have this problem fixed and so proud that it looks so good. They suggested that we have the posts stained to match the wood trim on our house instead of painted like they were. So glad we took their suggestion. Thank you so much."

Gazebos questions, answered by experts

Clean regularly, seal wood surfaces, and inspect for damage or rust to ensure longevity and safety.

To make the gazebo accessible, you can build a wheelchair pathway leading up to it. The path should be paved with a smooth surface for wheelchairs to roll through. A low curb should be placed along each side to ensure the wheelchair stays on the path. At the end of the path, build a wheelchair ramp connecting the gazebo.

The main purpose of a gazebo is to provide a covered space for people to gather comfortably. They’re an excellent place for summertime get-togethers because the roof protects you and your guests from the sun. However, gazebos can also serve as a design feature, adding a bit of charm to a backyard or garden.

Professionals ensure safe, thorough repairs using quality materials, extending the life of your structure.

Several types of porches are available to meet your needs and style preferences. Some common porch types include:

  • Porticos are essentially a roof over a walkway leading to the home's front entrance.

  • Sunrooms are closed-in porches that are an extension of the house with glass or plastic panels that allow optimal sunlight.

  • Wraparound porches extend around the entire home, or at least the front and one side, and offer multiple entrances to the house.

  • Back porches are an extension of the home’s floor into the outdoors. These offer more protection and privacy than a deck.
