"

He came out to give me a free estimate. He works very quickly. The windows came in fast. I got a great warranty on my new windows. I am very pleased with his work.

He also does aluminum siding, so I will definitely call him when I am ready for new siding on my home.

I would recommend him to anyone.

"Jim with North Alabama Technical Services removed some items from my computer so that I could send emails and attend to items I needed to address that day. As planned, the next day he thoroughly cleaned my computer, he also made helpful suggestions while working on my computer. I would call him again if needed and I thought the fee was reasonable."

"From the first day at the foreclosure home "One Call Roofing" did it all and did it all correct.  As I mentioned above the work was done perfect from tile in three bathrooms and large pantry, electrical rewire of most of the house, re sheetrocking of major torn down walls, screening of large portion. The tiles were perfect as anyone could imagine. All of the demo was carted away and all spaces cleaned.  They basically have refinished most of my house at a competitive price..If I had any questions I never waited more than 20 min for a recall and question answered.  No one has ever been this prompt.
At my sold home same story..Why trust anyone else when these guys can do anything you want.  Any job and it appears no job was to small.  The repaired gutters that were tilted wrong and caused a major leak in my basement, window cracks and hard ware..
My next job will be doing a metal roof on the foreclosed home.  And who am I calling?  One Call Roofing Team. I have already gotten a quote for 3000 sq foot home, large barn, tool room and carport.  Their price was competitive and to tell the truth even if they had been a bit high I would use them anyway.  I don't want any problems and or stress and this is what One Call Roofing does the best..they take the stress off you and do the job..You don't have to follow them around to see if the job is done correctly..it is inspected by the managers at One Call before any money exchanges hands..
I am really happy with Angie's List...I found this contractor and a tree service that was exceptional..Without Angie's list I would have had to find someone to do all this work. In the past I have not been fortunate enough to find the right people..jobs half completed, shabby work, not showing up, no communications and overpriced...Call One Call Roofing and as the name implies you will only make One Call..they will handle the rest..Great company...Next the roof, and next the siding...One Call is in my future...give them a call..it will be the last you make if looking for good contractors.."

Windows questions, answered by experts

In most cases, you should get your windows cleaned one to two times annually, although you might want to complete this task more often if you live in an area with heavy pollen or heavy rain or snowfall that soils your windows. It’s also a good idea to hire a professional window cleaning service if you’re listing your property, as sparkling windows will make a big difference in terms of curb appeal and, potentially, your home’s value.

The differences between a bay window versus a bow window involve the number of individual windows and the angle at which both windows extend from the home. A bow window has four to six individual windows that form a curve outside the exterior wall. A bay window usually has two small windows on the edges that angle outward from the exterior wall and a large window in the middle that’s parallel to the home’s exterior wall.

Replacement windows normally don’t come with new sills, as the sill is part of the window frame that the replacement window fits inside. If you’re replacing windows, it’s a good idea to replace the sill, as well, especially since the sill will be fully exposed and easily accessible for replacement.

Generally speaking, you should clean your windows and any associated fixtures and treatments every six months. Otherwise, clean them as needed to keep everything running smoothly. If you live in a part of the country with especially hard water, you may have to clean them three or four times per year, and the same goes for areas where insects, pollen, dirt, and other debris can soil your windows and potentially cause issues with the moving parts.

If you decide to forgo your old windows and upgrade them to modern day technology, there may be some people interested in the old windows. You can try selling them on an online marketplace for around $50 to $100 each (so long as the window wasn’t damaged during the removal). This can also help off set the overall price to replace them.
