It costs a certain amount of money to bring a technician, truck and supplies to every job, no matter what the size. For JCS, that minimum charge is $55.00. IICRC Standards require dry vacuuming, pre-spotting, pretreatment of carpet fibers, hot water extraction cleaning, application of protector, if requested, and grooming of the carpet. Spots such as red stains, rust and printer inks etc … require additional treatment above and beyond basic cleaning. The cost of these services is $5 per square foot.
