"I cannot speak highly enough of David and his team. When I got a moderately high radon reading on the home I was selling, I had to take care of it quickly so that my closing could go through. David worked me into his schedule and came to my home the day I called. He was delightful, did a thorough inspection, and gave me an estimate. I subsequently got an estimate from another vender, and it was $1,000 more! Not only that, but David had figured out a way to perform the remediation without installing unsightly pipes either on the inside or outside of the house. This involved him working in a very shallow attic space to run the pipes up through the heating ducts, but he was happy to go the extra mile. On the day of the work, David and his wonderful assistant Ryan arrived on time, and spent the better part of a day installing the system. They were convivial and professional without being the least bit instrusive  - I enjoyed the experience! "Jim did a great job. He quickly assessed the problem and then took our unit with him to work on it more. When he got back to us, the fix would have cost more than it was worth. He gave us options for a new or refurbished PC. We felt the refurbished was a good deal and chose that. He came back and set that up and we are very happy with it. He then took a look at my laptop and again took it along. He tuned it up and installed a speed upgrade we wanted. Of course, we paid extra for the new unit and upgrades, but we thought the price was very fair. Jim seemed very knowledgeable and responsive. "One Call Roofing was great. On the initial estimate, they were a little higher than the other two estimates but the other two  estimates did not include installing the ridge vent. The other two companies were going to replace the turbines (both worked fine). There was no pressure to accept their estimate and no "fancy" talk. Phillip explained what would be done and how it would be done.
The crew was on time and completed the roofing in one day (it was almost dark when they finished). They worked solid all day except for a brief break for lunch and a brief rain shower for which they put tarps on the roof until the rain stopped. Very good crew!
They returned the next morning to clean up and run the magnet over the front/back yard to pick stray nails. They did a very good job of cleaning the area - I've found a few pieces of small pieces of shingles in the grass but I would expect that with any company.
One thing I really liked was the installation of a waterproof membrane under the roof valley and around the heat vents.
One more important fact:  I received a $500 discount for being a member of Angie's List. This was applied AFTER they gave me the estimate.
