"Service went really well. Blake and his team arrived earlier than expected and started working in the yard right away. He cleared out several trees and bushes that were overgrown, as well as knocking down a damaged greenhouse that we no longer needed. His prices were reasonable and we are satisfied of his work. Would definitely hire again for another job and in the future."

"The crew arrived on time and did the job in about 2.5 hours. It was done very professionally. I could not be more pleased. The crew was courteous and respectful. They trimmed the 150 year old live oak very well. It had not be trimmed for at least 36 years. I am very satisfied with this company and would recommend them to anyone that needed tree trimming near their home."

"Steve and his guys did a fantastic job on trimming my Large Oak tress, removing large shrubs from years of overgrowth. They cleared all the limbs, shrubs, leaves, and an old chain link fence that had been in the ground since the 1960's! including post that were cemented in the ground. Also a few extras that wasn't included in the deal that I would see and ask him if he could do and answer always yes we can. Steve knows how to run a business and always returns your calls or answers right away. Just a great honest guy! Would highly recommend."

Small jobs welcome

"Hernandez is a nice guy but there is a lot he has to learn! He cut off a Tuplit tree which should never be cut plus when he trimmed our shrubs along the house he didn't know he was suppose to cut the backs also. My husband told him what to cut, but he may have been nervous. We like him and will tell him what should be and not be cut again! We'll keep him!"

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

In Mobile, tree service professionals should follow OSHA safety standards and use protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, and harnesses. Due to Mobile's frequent storms and humid climate, be alert for unstable trees, hidden storm damage, and local wildlife. Always confirm your contractor is licensed and insured, and check with Alabama Power before working near overhead utility lines to ensure safe tree removal or trimming.

Helpful?

In Mobile, unexpected costs during tree service can include fees for required permits, additional work for root removal, and debris disposal due to the city's strict cleanup regulations. If trees are close to sidewalks or utilities, extra precautions may be needed. Emergency tree removal after storms may require specialized equipment, and restoring landscaping or repairing irrigation systems can add to the overall project scope.

Helpful?

In Mobile, common mistakes include removing or topping native Live Oaks without proper permits, over-pruning trees during the wrong season, and attempting large tree removal without professional help. Ignoring root issues in Mobile's wet soil can lead to property damage. Always verify your contractor's credentials with the City of Mobile Urban Development Department and avoid unlicensed operators, especially after severe weather events.

Helpful?

For tree service in Mobile, select equipment that withstands humid, hurricane-prone conditions, such as rust-resistant saws and durable climbing gear. Stump grinders suited for sandy soil are ideal, and wood chippers help manage large amounts of debris common after storms. Local suppliers in Mobile can provide materials tailored to the region's climate, ensuring your tree trimming or removal project is both safe and efficient.

Helpful?

In Mobile, a tree removal permit is generally required for removing trees on public property or within city rights-of-way. The City of Mobile Urban Development Department oversees these permits, and additional approvals may be needed in historic districts. Always consult the Urban Forestry Division before starting tree removal or tree trimming, especially near utility lines or during hurricane season, as local procedures may change.
