We have 37 years in residential and commercial roofing. We have been a member of Home Builders Association for 27 years (License number 24329). We are fully licensed and insured through Burkholder Insurance (Liability/WorkmansComp) under a $2 million Umbrella. We are a premium roofing company, creating a permanent relationship with you. We listen, we think, we execute. Your roof may not need replacing, let me inspect it before you commit to another company. If it's less than 15yrs old, there's a good chance it can be permanently repaired, saving you money! I expect to be your roofer long term, taking care of all your roofing needs, not always charging for services rendered! It's not all about the money. There's a humane way of doing business. I'm vigilant. You can contact me anytime day or night. You never know when a storm will strike!

"Excellent, if I could I would give him 10 stars I would. He went above and beyond. Absolutely an honest man which is so rare in this time and age!"

Factory trained sheet metal crews. We are metal roofing specialists installing any type of metal roofing with 30 years of experience, I sell, install and stand behind our work. Many satisfied customers who can refer us.

"My husband and I are very pleased with the metal roof that Triple Crown put on our home. We got 3 different quotes, and even though Triple Crown wasn’t the cheapest, we decided to go with them because we’ve been around long enough to know that the cheapest and the best are rarely the same thing. Triple Crown was the only contractor we spoke with who took the time to educate us on the different construction methods for installing a metal roof over shingles and why they prefer to use the batten strip method. Once we had that information, we did our own research (thanks Google) and agreed that was the best application to go with. From start to finish it was evident that Triple Crown does not cut corners on materials, technique, or workmanship. They produce a quality product which they stand behind with an amazing warranty that far exceeded their competitors’ guarantees. When the building inspector from Dade City came out to inspect our finished roof in order to close out the permit, he also spoke highly of the work he regularly sees from Triple Crown. We’re very satisfied knowing that we got a quality roof at a reasonable price, and we couldn’t be happier. If you’re looking for a roofer, we highly recommend this company."

"I have known Charlie Sapp for years and have referred many folks to him for roofing needs. When it came time for me to have a new roof I knew who to call. The crew removed and replaced the roof with the best products available and finished a 2150 square roof foot in 1 day. The clanged and upgraded the chimney flashing and many other smaller improvements. Courteous, thoughtful and respectful is how his company and crew operates and still being competitively priced. I would recommend Charlie Sapp Construction for any roofing needs."

Copper roof strips can last for 20 to 30 years or more if properly installed—in many cases, they may outlast your roof. Inspect your roof annually to ensure copper roof strips remain properly adhered and undamaged, and repair any loose or lifted strips. With very little upkeep, copper roof strips can protect your roof for decades to come.

You can damage your shingles if you use the wrong type of paint on them. You should always use acrylic latex paint specifically formulated for shingles. Other types of paint may trap moisture, which can cause bigger problems like rot and mildew. Considering that roof replacement costs $9,100 on average, it’s definitely best to avoid making this mistake.

Besides using the right paint, remember that painting your shingles will require increased maintenance.

Re-roofing is the process of placing a layer of shingles over top of existing shingles, rather than pulling out those shingles and replacing them. Compared to a full roof replacement, re-roofing typically costs less and requires less labor and time. It's not an option for everyone, though. You may need a full roof replacement if your roof already has more than one layer of shingles. A full replacement may also be necessary if your roof has extensive damage.

The number of snow guards you’ll need on your roof depends on factors like the type of roof you have, its slope, the orientation of your home, and the snow load in your area. A local roofing professional or the snow guard manufacturer can help you determine the ideal amount.

This will depend on your existing roof to some degree but it’s common to raise a roof 4 to 8 feet. The exact amount you can raise is subject to the existing structure and for most homes with average roof slopes—20 to 45 degrees—you can raise the roof around 5 feet.
