On the appointed date of installation, the two man crew (Jamie and Jeremy) arrived on time, removed and replace the unit in a timely manner. They were courteous, respectful and performed their work in a professional manner. They were careful to take care my home, explained the new system to me and answered all questions that I had. Within a few hours, the unit was working, they cleaned the premises and left. Today, August 27, 2014, Justin Armstead, called and came by to inspect Air Now's work and brought my final paperwork. He was professional and I consider him to be an asset to Air Now's staff. Air Now, did a great job. Thanks to all concerned. He gave me a very good estimate over the phone and promised to call the next day to confirm the installation time.
I received a call around 11:00am on Tuesday that they would be at my house by 2:00pm. The tree was about 20-25 feet tall. Half of it broke off 2 feet above the ground, leaving half of the tree still standing. We had another Bradford Pear the same size overlooking our driveway where we park our cars that was still standing despite the storm. We called Southern Tree Surgeons and spoke with Johnny Myers. We requested an estimate for removing the damaged tree and cutting down the other tree to prevent potential future damage to our house and cars should that tree also break in a storm. He quoted us a price ($450.00 ) we felt was very good to remove both trees, grind the stumps below ground and then level the area so the lawn looked smooth. I was very surprised at how labor intensive this job turned out to be. Southern Tree Surgeons did the job in several stages; sending people over to cut the tree down and stack everything very neatly up near the road. They then brought a crew over on a huge truck with a special "claw" to pick up all the tree branches, tree trunks, and debris and haul it off. Another crew came over with a grinder to grind the stumps and surface roots, and then later another crew came to clean the debris, fill in the holes and rake the area so it was smooth and neat. The company also took great care not to damage vehicles with the grinder. I had one of the men ask me if I could move our car so there would be no possibility of damage from the grinder kicking up stuff and hitting the car. When the entire job was all done, we didn't so much as have a leaf left on the lawn, it was spotless. We spoke with Mr Myers the day the crews came over to grind the stumps and surface roots.. He did say he had not realized how extensive the roots were on the surface of the ground when it came to grinding them down, but he would honor the original price he had given us. I can't tell you how impressed I was at the quality of the work that was done. If it weren't for the grass-less area left by the trees (due to how much shade they threw on the lawn, grass didn't grow under the trees or between them) you would never be able to tell there had been trees there. The quality of the work was outstanding. Mr Meyers was very pleasant to deal with and stuck to the price he quoted even when the job turned out to be larger than he originally thought. We did wind up paying him an additional sum as we thought it was the right thing to do and the quality of the work was so outstanding. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone and if we need more tree work done this is the company I will be using!"},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/al/millbrook/southern-tree-surgeons-reviews-2402680.htm"},"position":10}]}

Very well. they arrived on time, worked hard and fast. the whole process took several days, starting on june 7 when they removed some undergrowth, a few small scrubby trees blocking my lake view, and the old grass, which was very sparse and patchy and badly eroded in my sloping front yard....

FAQs for animal removal projects in Fort Deposit, AL
DIY animal removal is rarely a good idea and is not advised for many reasons. First, these types of animals can carry diseases and, therefore, pose a health risk to you, your family, and your pets if mishandled. Second, depending on your city or municipality, it may be illegal to remove or handle wildlife yourself.
Sealing your home against these animals yourself is also a bad idea. Trapping an animal under your house will cause odor and insect problems when it passes away.
Pest control is not the same as animal removal. Pest control specialists treat for insects and bugs, often by using chemicals. Animal removal specialists try to avoid chemicals if possible and instead work to trap and move the animal that's causing problems.
Since each expert has their own removal methods, it's best to contact a pest control professional for insects and bugs and an animal control specialist for other animals.
Animal removal specialists specialize in removing critters and wildlife from in and around your home. These include:
Bats
Birds
Groundhogs
Moles and voles
Opossums
Mice and rats
Raccoons
Skunks
Squirrels
The specialist's method to remove these critters will depend on the animal. For example, groundhogs will be live-trapped and relocated, whereas, for birds, the expert will remove and discard the inactive nest and sanitize the area.
You might be tempted to call your local municipality to remove animals from your property, such as a groundhog burrowing in your yard or raccoons getting into your trash cans. However, they typically only remove domestic animals like dogs and cats from properties, or sick and injured wildlife that pose a public safety risk or health threat, such as a rabid animal. They typically do not capture or remove healthy wildlife.
Animal removal professionals have the tools, knowledge, and skills to trap and remove wild animals adequately and humanely. They also can relocate them correctly.
Professional animal removal costs between $200 and $600 for average homeowners. However, depending on the type and number of critters removed, this cost could range from $85 to $1,400.
This cost does not include the cost of home damage caused by the animal, which could be as low as $300 for minor drywall repair or as much as $15,000 for crawl space cleaning and restoration.
