I retired a couple years ago from a 30 year job in the transportation industry and I just don't want to set around or fish every day and n I've always been DIY kind of person so I started this as a side hustle I enjoy doing things with my hands and the accomplishment is a great feeling when I get finished up with a project . I have a fella thats helping now if needed depending on the project needs of course but I'm not afraid to dig in and get dirty small jobs or bigger jobs work if I can't do your project correctly I will let you know and give you the opportunity to find the correct person for your needs I believe in customer satisfaction and i will respect your property like it is my own . I believe in honesty and integrity to be shown from everyone involved in the project at hand . Thanks for the opportunity to introduce myself look forward to working with you soon.

Pre Made Cabinets questions, answered by experts

There’s no strict rule about which way cabinet doors should open, but generally, double cabinet doors should open away from each other. With single doors, you want to avoid having them block your path or swing into  areas where people need to stand. Some kitchens are angled so that cabinet doors may crash into something no matter which way they swing, but the methods above can help prevent damage.

Any of your garage shelves should be able to hold heavier loads, but it’s best to place heavier items on middle shelves. The only reason for this is to prevent injury—lifting heavy loads from down low requires squatting or bending over, which can lead to back injury, and lifting heavy loads off of high shelves in the garage can be especially dangerous if you drop them.

It depends on whether you buy pre-made stacked cabinets or construct them from scratch. If you build added cabinets from scratch, you can expect it to take several hours or days to build each one and then another two to three days for installation. Then, after painting your new cabinets, you should allow a few weeks for the paint to dry thoroughly before installing them over your existing cabinets.

In a kitchen installation, starting with the foundation and structural elements before moving on to the finishing touches is essential. Framing, plumbing, and utilities should go first, followed by cabinetry and countertops, then plumbing fixtures and new appliances. Flooring, paint, tile backsplashes, and similar finishing touches should get installed last.

As a homeowner, there are a few things you can do to prepare for your cabinet installer. Once the cabinets are ready for your home, you can do the following:

  • Ensure pets are safely in another room, out of the way of open doors and large moving objects.

  • Clear countertops for removal.

  • Tidy the floor the installers will walk through and around.

  • Prepare to have the installers in your home for the entire day, for multiple days, until the project is done. Expect to have a noisy environment, especially if they will remove old, existing cabinets.
