"It went great! He was there when he said he would be there. Everything was done professionally and with high quality work.

I've used Maven Group on several concrete projects at my home and at various stages of construction on homes I work on. If you want things done quickly and properly, they are your best option. The management at Maven Group is responsive and detail oriented, and their crews are well mannered and skilled."

"Andy has done quite a lot for me at my home. On this occasion he came in and took out sink/vanities in both my bathrooms complete with facets and put in new. He painted both bathrooms. He installed two new cabinets above my toilets for more storage, and installed two mirrored cabinets above the vanities. I never felt that I needed to keep on him. He worked the whole time he was here and did an excellent job. I have had him here to my home several times for inside & outside work. I foresee him coming back in the very near future."

"He came out the same day to give us a quote. Had to do extra work due to us being on a steep gravel road. He even came back to make sure our driveway was accessible without a 4X4 vehicle. We would highly recommend him. Great customer service."

Land Clearing Services questions, answered by experts

Measure from zero on a measuring tape by placing the metal hook right up against the edge of what you need to measure. You can also latch the hook onto an open edge—of, say, a table—to accurately measure as well. If you begin at the 1-inch mark, you'll need to subtract an inch from your total.

You can’t build on undeveloped land without preparing it for construction, which involves running utilities to the site or accounting for private utilities like wells and septic systems and grading and compacting the soil for safe construction. Once you prepare the land, you can build on it as long as the project abides by local zoning regulations.

If you can’t find any records online, you’ll need to contact your county clerk’s office to do further research. They should have property records on file, or can at least point you in the right direction of who to contact. You can also speak with your neighbors about when their houses were built because they were likely built around the same time.

Pros will assess your soil type, property geography, and rain patterns for optimal slope.

A land survey can take anywhere from a few hours to a month or more, depending on the size of the property, the type of survey, the property’s accessibility and topography, and the availability of historical property records. A simple boundary survey to determine a fence line can be completed in a day while surveying 50 acres of undeveloped woodlands may take weeks or longer.
