There are several steps you can take to prevent your AC drain from clogging. This includes cleaning the drain line at least every three months, changing the filter every one to three months, and getting your AC serviced annually. A clogged air gap can cause a dishwasher not to drain. There are, however, other potential issues that can lead to improper drainage.
