If I could give ZERO stars, I would. Gooldby installed a new valve on our dishwasher which ended up being faulty. (Not their fault.) They came out to replace the valve and "clean" the inch of water in our kitchen. However, they did not clean up the water properly which resulted in our cabinet doors swelling and mold growing under the kitchen sink and behind the counters. It took Goolsby over a YEAR to finally come out to properly remove the mold and fix the cabinets that were damaged. The owner, Jeff, insisted that the mold was not their problem. He ignored calls and emails from both myself and my property manager. When he did answer us, he'd setup a day and time to meet at the property and then not show up. It took threatening to sue him for him to finally do the responsible thing and fix his mistake.

I've used them for the last 40 years. They just terrific.

I called and requested service and was told my request and needs would be passed to a plumber and I would be called back. I never received a call from the office or a plumber. I'm guessing the plumber pick and choose what they want to work on. If my job could not be handled or couldn't get to me a courtesy call would have been nice, I was just blown off. Probably have plumbing issues in the future, this company won't be on the list to call.

They quickly found an available space in the breaker box, crawled under the house, ran the wire, installed the outlet and were finished in about an hour. Courteous and professional. And with a good price. Actually a bargain as there was no way that I wanted to do it myself.

As a former resident of Enterprise Al, I had used them in the past for multiple issues.  This house is now a rental and was in need of repairs.  I called and asked that they coordinate with the tenant to get repairs done. The office manager contacted the tenant and arranged the repair call.  The tech arrived on time and completed the work quickly.  As promised, the bill was mailed to me so that the tenant would not be inconvenienced.  I would definitely rely on them for future repairs.

They did a good job. They were efficient and they were there on the day and time they said they would be. They informed us about the price and they were accurate. They are a small time business but they do the job well.

2 gentlemen arrived, worked quickly and neatly, and completed their work with no disruption to our normal activities. They were very polite and respectful of our home. The gentlemen also took a few minutes to answer a few questions about a potential upcoming project from an electrical standpoint.

They arrived within a hour from when I called and did a very professional job repairing and cleaning up and was very pleasant to talk with. Overall I would use them anytime I had a electrical or plumbing problem and have over the years with always good results.

TERRIFIC! Thomas was a true professional in every way. I got a call on Tuesday to see if they could come early and Thomas was here within minutes of the call. On Friday for the reinstallation Thomas was here within minutes of the scheduled time, repaired a co-located drain line for our A/C unit, had everything set up quickly, and completely cleaned up when he finished. You couldn't tell anyone had been there at all! Highly recommended!

They arrived on time with 2 people. They had ordered the plug, circuit breaker and wiring that was specified by the information that I had given them. The plug installation went well but running the wire through the house conduit was more than they had bargained for. No fault on their part but due to the way the wiring was handled in building the house. I'm sure it took twice as long as they had figured. When they were done they checked the circuit and cleaned all their mess up. They stuck to their estimate price even though it was more of a job. I've never had a problem. It cost me about 30% more than if I'd bought the supplies and done it myself; assuming that I hadn't electrocuted myself in the process. Even though they weren't the least expensive option I feel sure that I came out better in the long run. I'd give them an A+ rating and am about to use them again for an external generator connection. Great people to deal with.

The original owners used the Goolsby to make repairs found during the home inspection. When we started to have problems with the pool which was one of the jobs that the company originally work on, we call Goolsby because we thought that they guaranteed their work. The company came out on August 10th to check on the problem in which they informed us that it wasn't their work but the electrical wire to the pool was shot. It would need to be replaced and it required digging up the yard. We had the option to dig it up ourselves and have the company come back in early next week to replace the electrical wire which was about 105 feet long. My husband opt to dig it up and save the cost. We got an estimate about 150 without coping which we thought was reasonable and told the gentleman that came out that we would be in contact on Monday to set up a time for Tuesday. On Monday, I called the office to set up a time for the tech to come back out. I called on Tuesday to verify the time of 2pm but I received a call stating that he would be back out at 1pm instead. About 1:25 the gentleman came out with another tech. They started to work right away but I stopped them to get another estimate done to add the coping because the wire was not put in deep enough and wanted to go with the coping option which was more expensive. The gentleman gave me an estimate of $250 which I agreed on because I explained that was the top of our budget. That's all we had to fix the problem. They got right to work on the problem and within an hour they were down. That's when I got the true bills of $350. I was appalled. I had no choice but to write another check. The gentleman made no excuse on the $100 increase and stated that at least he didn't charge us for the first time he came out which should of been another $85 dollars and made it seem like he was doing us a favor. At first the techs were very nice and friendly but after they started work, they said nothing. My husband was late coming home and I had to deal with them at first. When he returned home, I figured the the techs would at least talk to him about what was going on. He tried but they just kept working and didn't interact with him at all except to get paid. Make sure you get everything in writing. I would never do work with them again. I couldn't believe they charged me for 2 hours of work when they were here for an hour. Yes there was two techs here but they should of mentioned that before charging me. Not impressed.

They do HVAC and plumbing. They're kind of like handymen too, a little bit of everything. They were very responsive. We left a message for them and they came out the next morning because it was summertime and I was like, "Oh my god I'm dying." They get their hands dirty and do everything possible to make their customer happy. They get the stuff working if they possibly can and I can say that about my momma's house too.

I have known the owners of their business and I have worked with them on the habitat of the humanity. They have a very solid reputation. They are customer oriented and one of the things that I liked about them is that whenever they are ready to send a workman, they call me up to tell me that the person is on his way and they give his name, and that way I know who to expect. I would recommend them if someone had an electrical problem.

I had them come out previously for an estimate. Their estimate was better than most of the other quotes I got. When they came out for the work, the guy talked my husband through it. He said to call him if we had any questions. The customer service was really great. They were really friendly. The amount that we were charged was more than fair.

My overall experience with them was excellent.

They are punctual and quick. Their prices are reasonable.

Disconnected the old hot water heater and hooked up a Rinnai tankless. They had to hook up the 110 power and disconnect the 220 power. They also had to drain the old hot water heater disconnect the water lines and install new ones to the Rinnai.

They were on time, professional, and work was completed without a hitch!

Pricing --this is plumbing and electric folks you get what you pay for. I have used them before and will use them again.

I tried to get quotes from other electrical contractors and all I got was answering machines and no-shows. I called Goolsby Bro's and they were out the next morning. They were on time, called each time before they came and were very courteous. They came out and looked at the situation and the next day I had a in-writing quote. Their quote was not the lowest but close and you get what you pay for. They came out and it took longer than they had figured but honored their quote. They didn't mind me watching and cleaned their mess up as well. They provided the exact hardware I asked for and did a great installation. I'm about to use them again for another project.
