Small jobs welcome

"Had 2 BR sink faucets replaced. Plumber had to go to get another piece because Home Depot sold a box with a Delta faucet that was missing a piece. So not happy with Home Depot. But otherwise I thought it was an expensive experience. Prices have really gone up since the last time I needed a plumber! But he did a good job and cleaned up nicely"

"Dennis and his team said our pipes appeared to be in good shape and suggested a good cleaning first to see if that would fix our draining problems. They were right and they saved us a lot of $$ and our drain is working fantastic now. I would highly recommend D & G Plumbing for their integrity and quality service! I will absolutely be calling them again for all of my future plumbing needs."

"It was expensive but I think it was about $200. But you know who your repair, when it's coming, they're in uniform and you don't have any but cracks.

I've actually used them since, I've had them here 99 and I've used that company since then when I've needed plumbing repairs.
I've never been disappointed, they come promptly. There's never an after hour service charge, there's lots of things that have drawn me back plus they do the work correctly and clean up after themselves."

"Owner responded quickly and was very detail oriented. Diagnosed issues present and conducted work promptly. Cleaned out sewer drain line, dug up and repaired a section of it along with repairing a couple other miscellaneous plumbing issues that were present. Will definitely be calling him back in the future for any plumbing work necessary."

Sewer Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Depending on the home, wastewater either goes into a septic tank and seeps back into the backyard or is sent via sewer system to a local sewage-treatment plant. Septic systems naturally separate different components of the waste so that it can naturally and safely disperse it. They are usually reserved for homes not served by a municipal sewage department (like rural homes). A treatment plant, on the other hand, speeds up that process through screening and purification.

Food grease, soap buildup, paper products, and tree roots often cause serious clogs.

An active cleaning agent and a drain snake is the best way to clean a main sewer line. You can purchase a regular or enzyme drain cleaner or make a DIY drain cleaner with baking soda. Use your chosen solution at least once a month or as needed to keep your sewer line clear.

You should hire a sewer service professional to unclog a main sewer line with tree roots. Tree roots can grow into the main sewer line, and this problem requires a specialized hydro jet, or rooter, that is powerful enough to clear the roots. The tree can also damage the main sewer line, and a professional will need to make repairs or replace the damaged sections. Sewer line replacement costs about $60 to $250 per linear foot.

One way to save money on sewer lines is to install a sewer cleanout since it makes sewer line maintenance easier. Keeping up with maintenance is key to reducing the cost of repairs, so be sure to schedule annual plumbing inspections, install drain guards to stop objects from accidentally falling down drains, and only flush human waste and toilet paper to protect your pipes.
