- IntelafoneI got tired of paying $12 for basic phone service plus another $14 in fees and taxes, when I use my cell phone almost exclusively for personal and business calls, so I gave up my landline. Then I realized that I had underestimated the amount of time I spent on hold and dealing with help desks, technical assistance, banks, Microsoft, etc. I was really racking up the minutes, but upgrading my cell phone plan to an unlimited option was not in my budget, so I looked in VOIP options. Intelafone had the best price,with no contract, and a rep for good customer service. I called them with a bunch of questions; I just couldn't believe I could get a residential line with unlimited any time calling for $11.25 a month! (That?s less than half the difference in cost between my basic cell phone plan and my cell carrier?s unlimited plan--with calling time restrictions!) I've called Intelafone customer support twice. Both times I received fast, friendly, helpful customer service from a guy who was thoroughly familiar with the ins and outs of VOIP. Intelafone is everything it promises, easy installation (I just plugged it into my router!) and has worked flawlessly. No one I've spoken with on the Intelafone system has made any comments about volume, clarity, or interference, and on my end, calls sound no different from my old landline. The only difference is the price, and superb customer service. PLUS Intelafone doesn't nickel and dime you for each feature. With Intelafone, caller ID, call waiting, three way calling, call forwarding to cell phone, caller ID blocking, voicemail to email, digital outbound faxing, etc. are included in the base price, AND I get text messages from Intelafone whenever a voice mail message is left in my voice mailbox. How sweet is that

I heard nothing, but then ATand T showed up to check on the phone line into our new home to make sure it was active. They said Sonic ordered this- but still I had heard nothing from them. When I called customer service, they seemed surprised that I hadn't been contacted. When a representative called back, they said it would be another 2 weeks until someone could hook me up! Since I have had Sonic; however, I have been extremely pleased. We have very fast internet, can stream live with not interruption- plus I have a landline with many features at no extra cost. - ComcastThey are very expensive and am looking for away to get away from them. The bill keeps going up. I started paying like $130.00 and now its like $210.00. They also have taken some of my favorite channels away from the cheaper packages. I'm just trying to decide which one satellite company to switch to. They are knowledgeable and patient and will keep trying till they solve the problem, or research it and call you back. They will even help with configuring your own equipment to be compatible with theirs
- COMCAST INTERNET SVCI don't have much of a choice for high speed Internet, land line and telephone service in a bundle where I live in San Francisco. ATand T does not serve this area and I didn't check out Verizon. It may take a long time to get through to technical help but once you get through the do an adequate job. I wouldn't continue using them if they didn't have a monopoly in the area
