- McFarland's Carpet ServicePerhaps the most terrible customer service Ive ever experienced from a company. Brought our Persian rug to be repaired (tassels needed to be redone). The first thing when we dropped off the rug the owner and his son say "I wouldn't pay $80 for this piece of s***". We took it with a grain of salt because some people lack social intelligence and it's not worth arguing. The owner confirmed that the tassels will be redone and quoted us $620. Fast forward 2 weeks later with no updates, I called and asked if the rug was finished. Apparently it was. I picked up the rug and when I unwrapped it, the tassels had not been touched at all. I called in to which the son answered. I asked if they had possibly missed the tassels? He became extremely defensive saying I needed to bring the rug in and ask his Dad. I asked if I could just speak to him on the phone as I live 45 minutes away. Turns out his Dad is "in the middle of no where in Mexico". The son then said "You'll get your refund and never call back here again" and hung up the phone. I had my husband call because maybe I upset him? Turns out the son might have anger problems because again he said to my husband "I'll call you whenever I feel like it" and hung up again. Keep in mind this guy is probably in his late 30's. He shouldn't be in charge of customer service if he has issues. I've attached photos of their "work". They also keep their dog in the shop which jumps on top of and sleeps on all of their rugs for sale and the clients rugs

One of the carpets had some use showing through. The carpet was cleaned to the original condition. We were informed that a section the carpet might need to be cleaned again after a little wear. If this was the case they would be happy to come back and do the section again. As it turned out this was true and the company quickly returned and did the carpet. Have had no problems since. We were extremely pleased with the quality and timeliness of the work and will surely use AZ Xtreme Clean if we have any more work to be done and have recommended them to our neighbors

No hard sell for extra services which was very much appreciated. My house was a model home so there were millions of dirt covered footsteps to contend with, plus I have a blind dog who can't tell the difference between a dining room chair and a bush. The house is a basement home so the steps are used and abused and were really dirty on the edges. Bill cleaned the lower level which included a hallway, media room plus a sewing room. Upstairs were two guest bedrooms, a master bedroom, a living room and extra care given to our dining room. The lower level looked gorgeous and the steps came back to life. A follow-up phone call to see how the carpets looked and if I had any questions proved he has excellent customer service. I was faced with replacing all our carpet but now I know I can call Bill to make them look new again
