crew of 7 men very professional, cannot say enough about them. they did everything i asked. estimate half to a third below what i expected, actually had to insist they accept additional funds above estimate due to increased work. crew earned a hefty tip each man. not a leaf left for me to clean up.

  • Sedgwick Landscaping LLC
We had a tree in our front yard that we desperately needed down due to fear of it falling on our house. Sedgwick landscaping arrived quickly, assessing the situation and handled everything from start to finish fast with professionalism. It put our minds at ease knowing that the tree was down and we were safe but also that they handled everything for us. I would recommend them to everyone

They came out, estimated and got the work done. Everything was perfect. They took care to not damage a greenhouse close to the LARGE tree that was being taken down and all was cleaned up. They even cut and left us a few logs my wife wanted for tables!! Communication was spot on! I will use them again for work in the future without hesitation

  • Oscar's Tree Removal & Patios
Oscar called within a few hours after receiving my inquiry and came to my residence the next day to prepare an estimate. We agreed on the job and he and his men arrived on the date and time promised. One of the two trees was a forty foot ash tree that was very close to the house. They meticulously dismantled the tree being careful to keep all branches away from the house. All debris was cleaned up and taken away. Oscar and his guys weee very polite and professional. I would definitely use his services again

  • B and D Tree Removal LLC
Brian has worked for us at the school district removing very large trees, where cranes and conventional removal was not practical. Brians expertise was quickly apparent as he utilized multiple types of equipment to shape trees as well as remove tree canopies methodically to then make felling of the large trunk effortless. Brian is courteous and professional as are his crew aiding him. I would highly recommend B&D Tree Service for removal or shipping of very large trees

I highly recommend Oscar’s Tree Removal and one of our neighbors was so impressed they hired Oscar on the spot. Oscar himself is an extremely knowledgeable and engaging guy who truly takes pride in his work and his company. We would use them again without hesitation

Tree Service FAQ

  1. How much does it cost to remove a tree?

Answer: Typically, tree removal costs between $200 and $2,000. Tree removal costs vary widely based on the number of trees being removed, the height of each tree, the diameter of each tree trunk, and accessibility to the tree. Smaller trees are usually less expensive to remove than larger ones, as are those that are more easily accessible.

  2. Do you need a permit to cut down a tree?

Answer: In many areas, you don’t need a permit to cut down a tree on your own private, residential property. But some municipalities may require tree removal permits for conservation purposes or to comply with local ordinances. When you hire a tree removal pro, they’ll be able to tell you whether you need a permit for your specific tree removal project.

  3. When is a good time to trim trees?

Answer: In most regions, the best time to trim your trees is during the winter months. During the active growing season (spring through fall), trimming your trees can leave them more vulnerable to disease and less likely to thrive. During the winter months, when trees are dormant, trimming them will cause less stress and leave them ready to grow again in the spring.

  4. What is the average cost to cut a tree down?

Answer: Tree removal costs between $200 and $2,000 per tree. Establishing an average cost can be difficult because each tree will be assessed and priced based on factors like height, trunk diameter, and accessibility. In general, smaller trees cost less to remove than larger trees, as do trees that are more accessible.

  5. How much does it cost to service a tree?

Answer: The cost to service a tree is typically between $430 and $1,320. The cost to service a tree depends on several factors, including what exactly you’d like done, the tree’s height, its health, the location of the tree, and local labor costs. The national average cost for tree services is $865. Tree trimming isn’t necessary for all trees but can improve their health and longevity by encouraging new growth.

  6. What is the difference between tree trimming and pruning?

Answer: While tree trimming and tree pruning might appear similar to the untrained eye, they serve different purposes. Tree pruning is used to thin a tree by removing unnecessary or burdensome branches. Tree trimming promotes healthy growth by trimming but not removing branches.
