The whole thing needed to be redone and since we don't live in Florida full time we needed someone who we could trust to manage the project from start to finish without much input from us. Sylvia did and excellent job starting with getting us an additional $15,000 from our insurance company by recommending an excellent public adjuster who negotiated on our behalf before Sylvia started work. Sylvia made all design decisions (with just a bit of guidance from us), managed all aspects of the work and even staged the home at the end as we are now trying to sell it. Her attention to the small design details (fixtures, decorations etc) really made our house shine. We are very pleased with her work

"My husband and I moved into a modern condo building and were baffled as to how to furnish our large open floor plan with huge windows and high ceilings. My neighbor recommended her interior designer, Sue Hunter. I loved how my neighbor's home was decorated. Sue is amazing. Sue came to our home and in ONE hour, put together an entire plan for us that included a complete palette of colors, size ranges for each piece of furniture she recommended, rug sizes and an accent wall paint color. Then we went shopping! She chose pieces I wouldn’t have thought to pick and when they arrived—they were perfect. Sue returned and arranged by etagere, wall hangings and accessories. "Robin is fantastic. I was in the process of cleaning out and preparing my father-in-laws' home for sale. He and his family had lived there for nearly 50 years. It had good bones, but was terribly dated. Robin came and advised me on what colors to paint every room and encouraged me to have all of the doors and trim enameled in white. She also gave me advice on what items in the house should be updated/upgraded for the least amount of money with the greatest return. I put new knobs on the kitchen cabinets, new toilet and sink in two bathrooms, put contractor grade light fixtures throughout the house, swapped out all light switch, outlet plates, and air registers.
<br /> After all of the upgrading and painting, Robin then staged the house in such a way that helped potential buyers envision how they might use the space. Every item from rugs, furniture, pillows, accessories, lamps, pictures etc was perfect for each room and the house no longer looked like "grandpa's", but like a "pottery barn" showcase.
<br /> Before implementing Robin's plan, real estate agents estimated that the house would sell for around $250,000-$260,000. After doing the painting and the upgrades and having her stage the place, the house sold in 19 days with a bidding war for $315,000.
<br /> I would say she was WELL WORTH THE COST. No doubt about it!
<br /> In terms of some details. She has a team of other stagers in the area who share a common warehouse of furniture. She uses a professional moving company to bring in the furniture and to take it out. She promptly answers her phone and returns messages. Time to set up was about 4 hours. The average cost per room was $200 and we bought a two month plan. I would recommend the two months because it helps with the bank appraisal and inspection.

"Tracey was amazing to work with on getting rid of excess clutter in my basement. She had lots of patience and compassion for my emotions that came up when I knew it was time to say goodbye to an item that represented an old part of my life. And her cleaning team of Maria and Sue got rid of the messiest of stains on the basement floor. And they took away items for Goodwill so I didn't have to deal with them. I totally trusted them around everything in my house as they did a deep clean on the main and upper floors. I called their service "house flossing" because they got every speck of dust and cobwebs and grime and left everything sparkling. I especially appreciated the sense of humor of everyone on the Two Dames team — even when I felt overwhelmed they kept everything light.
