  I contacted Ready for Market Home Staging because I knew I needed help getting my home preparaed to sell. Lisa was great! She arrived on time and did an amazing amount of work in 4 hours. We completely rearranged my entire home. Lisa gave me suggestions on how to improve the look of my house. She returned the following week with accents. It was a great load off of my mind to have someone objectively help me get my home together. I definitely feel it will help sell my residence more quickly.   Amber and Kim were a pleasure to work with, making the stressful experience of readying a place for market almost fun! They love their work, and it shows. From start to finish, they were always clear about cost and projected budgeting depending on how long the condo would stay on the market. They were extremely accomodating in working with some existing furniture we already had, as well as using their furniture and decor. The condo looked so inviting and cozy, everyone who put an offer on the condo, or were close to doing so, wanted to purchase the condo WITH all the furniture and accessories!   Teresa was able to begin staging the house right away and actually finished the week before the real estate agent had scheduled photo's. Photo's for the MLS turned out great thanks to the staging. Listed the house on the market late that week and the real estate agent held an open house on Saturday. Lots of compliments on the house and we had a full price offer by Sunday evening!   Our house was on the market early this summer and got an offer in a week. We sold 3 rooms worth of furniture (office and two bedrooms) and had the house about 70% packed including all paintings and wall art. 5 days before closing, our buyers backed out and we had to go back on the market at the end of selling season. I was at a loss because the house was in shambles. Full of boxes and empty rooms. Out of desperation, I called RFMHS. Even though Lisa was getting ready to go on vacation she squeezed me in. She assessed all of the existing furniture in the house and moved several things around. She advised which mirrors/art pieces to unpack and hung them up. She rearranged the existing knick knacks and made some suggestions on small things (like small plant) I could pick up that would make a big impact on the house. She managed to make our office an office with a small desk I had been using as a hall table. By the time she was finished, my house looked better than it did when it first went on the market fully furnished! My husband and friends were blown away. After she finished, we had several positive comments like and quot;shows like a model homeand quot; and and quot;rooms are airy and refreshing.and quot; While we don't have an offer yet, we have two buyers considering (both have said to let them know if we get an offer). One of them even asked how much furniture we would be willing to sell with the house!   Lisa is simply amazing. Not only does she have talent and an excellent eye for design, but also is a joy to have at your house. She helped me as a harried homeowner stay calm during those hectic final stages of getting our house on the market. We had done all the prep work in minor repairs and cleaning, plus we had removed clutter and excess furnishings. I was at a loss about how to finish the job when I came upon Lisa's listing on Angie's List. I was willing to invest a reasonable amount to get the right look to sell my home quickly at a good price. At the initial consultation, I could tell Lisa had the right ideas and would work to keep the costs reasonable. She was able to pull everything together within a week, which was a great turnaround. Then we were able to meet with the realtor, get the photos taken and put our house on the market. We heard many comments such as and quot;Your house looks brand newand quot; and and quot;It looks like a model home.and quot; And the house was built 30 years ago. End result was many showings and multiple contracts within the first 4 days! We are scheduled to close in the next few days. If you feel like you need some interior design help to make your house look like those on the TV shows, call Lisa! She'll help you out and you'll have a great time working with her.   Everything went great from start to finish. When I called Lisa she answered her phone immediately and we set up a date for her to come out and see our condo. My schedule was very limited because I was traveling back and forth from Massachusetts to Houston due to my husband's transfer. She worked with my schedule and was able to come out in a couple of days. Once she was there she took notes and pictures to help formulate the plan for what she was going to do. As we went around the condo she told me what she thought would work in each room and also gave me suggestions as to what I could do to help sell the condo. She also asked my thoughts and opinions as we went along to be sure I liked what she had in mind. After her visit she immediately sent me a Homeowner's Checklist which included an action plan of what should be done before she came back to stage the condo. It also gave some pointers as to what would help when "showing" the condo. Within a few days she emailed me with her Staging Plan and Estimate. She gave a brief synopsis of her thoughts about the condo. She made a couple of comments about each room and included a list of the items she was going to use in each room and where she was going to put them. Transfers don't always go smoothly so it was almost 2 months before we were actually ready for Lisa to come and stage. We kept in touch the entire time and once we were ready she came out as scheduled (the day after I arrived back in Houston). Once again I was working on a tight deadline since I was only in town for a few days and needed the staging done so the photographer could take the pictures for the "listing". Lisa arrived with her associate Donna at the scheduled time. She brought everything she needed to get the condo staged. A few trips up and down in the elevator (since we are on the 8th floor) and they got right to work. Lisa brought lots of greenery, several pictures, decorative pillows, books, beautiful bedding, lamps, accent pieces, baskets, towels, accessories, placemats, artwork, a mirror, a table, a chair and more. I honestly don't know how she fit it all in her van! Within a few hours our condo was transformed into a home that looked ready for Better Homes & Gardens Magazine. Lisa's attention to detail and her eye for color truly showed when she was all done. Her staging of our 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, kitchen, dining and living room areas, the entry way and the balcony made such an amazing difference to the overall look of our condo. I have seen staging done on TV before but now I have had the pleasure of the experience myself. I have no doubt that our condo will sell quickly thanks in large part to the amazing job Lisa did. I am now back in Massachusetts with at least 3 feet of snow outside my door and I can't wait for the condo to sell so I can get back to Houston and the warmer weather (if only to pack things up for the movers). Working with Lisa (and Donna) was a pleasure. Lisa was always punctual, dependable, professional and very pleasant. I wasn't sure what to expect since this was my first experience using someone to stage a property.
