Amazing job putting grass and sprinklers in our front yard, as well as cutting and stacking wood from 5 mature trees. Very professional and timely, would absolutely recommend. We’ll be working with them again soon!

Excellent work. The previous homeowners performed no yard maintenance while they lived here multiple years of overgrowth were visible from the trees and bushes. The House now looks maintainable after the restoration has been complete

Henry and team are fantastic. They have put in a backyard for us, removed dead trees and planted several trees and bushes. They are prompt and reliable (arrive when they say they will, and work is completed when they say or earlier). Quality is unmatched in my opinion!

Henry and his crew was amazing! He came out to give us an estimate on Thursday and they were finished by the time I got home from work on Monday. He helped us decide what the best course of action was, gave us a fair price, and his team worked quickly. He was very easy to communicate with and we were on the same page the whole time (after having 3-4 landscapers ghost us before we contacted Natural Landscaping and Design). I would absolutely recommend Natural Landscaping and Design to anyone looking for a reliable team to work with

We just had a large cottonwood tree removed (approx. 80' tall and 90' in from the street). Our arborist Scott Scholz from Savatree did an excellent job of coordinating the city, the crane service, and Savattee crew in getting the tree removed. All came together within a half hour on removal day and was completed in 7 hours. The tree partially covered 4 homes and was damaged in the May 2022 snow storm. With Scotts analysis we all agreed it was time to remove. Thank you Scott and your assistant Liv Duesterberg for her great support. Dave & Bette W

  • R&R Tree Care
Jack called and asked me what I needed done. I had already trimmed my lilac bushes and had about 60-70 cubic feet of branches that I wanted hauled away. While the focuses more on tree and stump removal they came out to remove these branches. Jack is a very polite man and was good to work with. Just as important, he kept in contact with me and showed up exactly at the time he said he would. I would most certainly hire this company again

John did an excellent job of removing 2 huge shrubs in our back yard. He cut them super close to the ground and made sure all was cleaned up. We love how much our backyard has opened up now that the shrubs are gone. We would definitely have John back to do future tree work for us. Thank you again!

Tree Service FAQ

  1. How much does it cost to remove a tree?

Answer: Typically, tree removal costs between $200 and $2,000. Tree removal costs vary widely based on the number of trees being removed, the height of each tree, the diameter of each tree trunk, and accessibility to the tree. Smaller trees are usually less expensive to remove than larger ones, as are those that are more easily accessible.

  2. Do you need a permit to cut down a tree?

Answer: In many areas, you don’t need a permit to cut down a tree on your own private, residential property. But some municipalities may require tree removal permits for conservation purposes or to comply with local ordinances. When you hire a tree removal pro, they’ll be able to tell you whether you need a permit for your specific tree removal project.

  3. When is a good time to trim trees?

Answer: In most regions, the best time to trim your trees is during the winter months. During the active growing season (spring through fall), trimming your trees can leave them more vulnerable to disease and less likely to thrive. During the winter months, when trees are dormant, trimming them will cause less stress and leave them ready to grow again in the spring.

  4. What is the average cost to cut a tree down?

Answer: Tree removal costs between $200 and $2,000 per tree. Establishing an average cost can be difficult because each tree will be assessed and priced based on factors like height, trunk diameter, and accessibility. In general, smaller trees cost less to remove than larger trees, as do trees that are more accessible.

  5. How much does it cost to service a tree?

Answer: The cost to service a tree is typically between $430 and $1,320. The cost to service a tree depends on several factors, including what exactly you’d like done, the tree’s height, its health, the location of the tree, and local labor costs. The national average cost for tree services is $865. Tree trimming isn’t necessary for all trees but can improve their health and longevity by encouraging new growth.

  6. What is the difference between tree trimming and pruning?

Answer: While tree trimming and tree pruning might appear similar to the untrained eye, they serve different purposes. Tree pruning is used to thin a tree by removing unnecessary or burdensome branches. Tree trimming promotes healthy growth by trimming but not removing branches.
