"From the first call to the final install, Karol was excellent to work with. He is extremely knowledgeable on stone and current trends and gave us very good advise for upgrading our countertops in a cost-effective manner since we are prepping the house for selling. The crew that did the install was prompt, professional, and did high-quality work. They took care to lay covers on our floors to protect them and cleaned up thoroughly when they were done. They didn't waste time; they got to work immediately and finished the job in a timely manner. We have a U-shape kitchen and they removed the old countertops/sink and installed new countertops & new sink. We are thinking of having the bathrooms done now since Karol's pricing is so much better than the 4 other quotes we received. Extremely good pricing and craftsmanship.show more

We settled on Gilasi because our salesman told us that they had come up with a substitute for concrete, which we knew would stain, as the binder in their countertops. It is a non-toxic epoxy that is not only non-porous but practically stainproof. We took a chance and had them installed and they have been fabulous. "So originally, I called Joseph to give me a quote on new countertops. But, as we talked, I asked Joseph if he could do more; like paint cabinets. Well, that was the start. Joseph basically re-did our Kitchen and, best of all, he was a "solution finder." So, he proposed a vent hood over the island stove and, he figured out how to vent it through the garage. And people LOVE the kitchen. Guests rave about it. So, we hired JJ Designs for MORE. They remodeled our bathroom, including a full paint job, replacement of plumbing, custom shower, custom cabinets, new vents. New floors - and it's amazing. My wife and I love it. We ALSO had Joseph replace our floors in 3 downstairs rooms. Oh and they replaced our carpeted stairs and wooden spindles with wood and metal. All I can say is that we are so glad we found Joseph. He and his teams not only do great work; but Joseph is very fair in his pricing and does not "surprise" - although I did ask him to do more because of all the great work they were doing. And I have no doubt we will ask him to do more.show more

"We had to dig up the floor of our ('90s handyman special) finished basement to replace a sewer valve, and figured we might as well take the opportunity to refinish the basement. Ned was great about working with us to identify what we could afford to do with our budget, and Wesley did excellent work leveling the concrete floor and installing vinyl flooring, creating a built-in bench to hide mechanicals while still providing access and storage, and replacing drywall and trim, along with a bunch of other small jobs that we asked him to complete.
