  Grant did an excellent job of removing top section of cabinet; ran wires to new TV location; fixed damaged drywall and textured; primed and painted entire area; built large floating shelf above new TV location; and, removed all debris. The overall appearance of the remodel is outstanding. He consulted with me throughout the job and was very professional. I would definitely hire The Remodel Pro again

  Very happy with them. If they don't have a preferred vendor in your area who can handle your repair, you can hire whomever you want. Important: you must get an approval from them before you hire the vendor if you want the service covered. You pay the vendor directly for the work and email Complete Protection a copy of the receipt; they reimburse you within 30 days as promised. I've used them three times over the past year and everything went smoothly. They reimburse me on time and are easy to deal with over the phone

  Our kitchen ceiling fan stopped working. OneGuard sent Stellar Home Services to check it out. The tech quickly diagnosed it as a motor problem that needed replacing. It is an older Casablanca ceiling fan and the tech said we'd hear from OneGuard about a repair or replacement. We heard from OneGuard and they did indeed offer a contractor replacement or $110 cash-out. The FanDoctor of Phoenix repaired another fan a number of years ago so we called them. Replacement motors for our fan are no longer made but they can replace the bearings if that is the problem. I brought it in, they said the bearings were shot and it would be $125 for the repair. We took the cash-out option and the fan is being repaired. We can't expect OneGuard to pay for repairs eternally for what is a 33 year old fan! We are happy with the resolution

  I saw American Residential Warranty advertised on TV for about the 10th time. I never paid any attention to it before because we had one. I started thinking about it and I looked and I thought I had put that information in my cell phone and I had. They were still advertising and they had a special on top of their normal. Oh my goodness it was such a good deal. It was so much cheaper than anybody else. You are not under a contract for a full year, you can cancel it at anytime. You can use your existing people, like if you have a plumber that you love, you can use him. It was just almost too good to be true. I kept asking her questions. Another good thing was that they cover stuff like garage door openers, which most of them don't. They cover ice makers and refridgerators which most of them don't. I was just bowled over. We haven't used them yet, we just signed up with them. By purchasing a full year we got 2 free months. And we have that option for the rest of our lives, to have it at the price we purchased originally and if we pay yearly we get the 2 free months from now on. That is almost unbelievable. I will let you know if I have any problems with them but right now I am very happy with them. If we cancel we get the prorated amount back. There was nothing that scared us about going ahead an using them. Just dealing with them on the phone, the woman was very knowledgeable, she answered all of my questions. I talked to her off and on for about 4 days. I would say, well, my husband wanted me to ask about this and my husband wanted me to ask about that. She knew, she didn't have to go ask somebody. They seemed to have their act together

  One pool claim was specifically excluded by the contract provisions. One pool claim was difficult to work through (leaking check valves), The last pool claim went very smoothly, very quickly, and with a good service provider. This involved replacing the motor on the pool filter pump. There was no dispute in work-scope. The service provider was very busy, so it was a full week from failure to repair. Luckily I could still circulate water using the waterfall so the pool did not breed excessive algae. The A/C claim was a disappointment because in order to get what I needed, I had to settle for a payout vs. a repair. Of course, the payout was extremely low (based on their high-volume wholesale rates) vs. my retail cost for repairs. Furthermore, the A/C contract provisions limit the refrigerant refill amount. I paid several hundred dollars more to refill my unit after the repair. Thankfully, the A/C repair was early/ pre-season, so the time to settle the claim and replace the unit was acceptable

  <p>My inspector was Ron Cress.&nbsp; 10 years ago when I bought my first house he was my home inspector (when he was with Land America) and I was so impressed with his knowledge, his thoroughness, and his professionalism that when I was buying a new house I hunted him down on the internet and found him working for Buyers Protection Group.&nbsp; With my first house he saved me a lot of headache by finding over 160 items the builder of house did wrong, including 8 major building code violations.&nbsp; Without Ron's inspection I would have had an uneven roof, and bannisters that weren't safe for my kids.&nbsp; I owe him a lot, so I&nbsp;hired him a second time.&nbsp; He did not disappoint.&nbsp; Since this house was an existing house his focus was no longer on code, but safety and just general defects.&nbsp; He found cases of wood rot, plumbing issues, electrical issues where the GFI outlets weren't working correctly, and improper drainage on the roof.&nbsp; At the same time he was very re-assuring that the house was a very good house, and if these were our only problems then we were in great shape.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>I cannot attest to any of the other inspectors at this company, but I highly recommend Ron.&nbsp; </p> <br /
