    The process was very smooth. A technician came to check out the appliance. It was determined (after a few days) that a replacement part wasn't available. OneGuard offered a particular model to replace it or its equivalent value at HomeDepot. I chose the replacement. The technicians came to install it and made fast work of it.     We this 37 year old house less than 2 months ago. This was the first time I called the Home Warranty company for a repair. My wife plugged an appliance into an outlet. There was a blue spark and the lights in 2 adjacent rooms went out, with the original outlet still working. I submitted an online request and received an Email within an hour or so giving the contractor who would be doing the work. The contractor called me an hour or two after that to get information on our electrical system and we scheduled for the next day. I met him at home and he checked out the breaker box and connections, which all seemed to be fine. After checking for any unseen breaker boxes and other connections, he suspected a broken wire. When he took apart the outlet box there were blue sparks. A wire to the other rooms had broken and was only making occasional contact. He fixed that and restored power to the other rooms. He was here about 2 hours and all I had to pay was the $59 OneGuard co-pay. I'm happy with the response and the service so far. OneGuard is one of the more expensive Warranty companies, but they cover a wider range of problems, including septic, which we have at this house. So far, so good

    Have had One Guard for the past 6 months and have had approximately 3 service calls. So far, the experience has been exceptionally favorable. Very polite, on time and have sent out reliable service providers. Have not had a major repair item which is always the big test, but so far, so good.

    I felt like One Guard was a great decision for my wife and I as we bought our first house last July. The house is 35 years old and we kept the appliances from the previous owners so the warranty gave us great piece of mind. We needed One Guard a total of three times. Once, our air conditioner was acting up so we called and they had someone out here pretty quick to look at it. The next time we needed our dishwasher serviced because the water pump went out amongst other things. Lastly, we called because the water heater's pressure relief valve got stuck and kept leaking water. The warranty company did not replace any of the appliances because they were repairable (which kind of stinks because my water heater is 20+ years old and has a ton of build-up at the's a ticking time bomb...). I know there is a huge debate about whether or not to get a home warranty and I am actually battling that in my mind as we speak. I don't know if I am going to renew or not. If I do not renew, it will not be because the service was poor. One Guard did a great job for me

    They've been very responsive to all our service calls and requests since we started using them in late September. My only complaint is that when they had not received payment from the title company, per the contract, in a timely manner they did not notify either the title company or us so we could work to rectify it immediately. It made things more difficult to fix later

    He fixed the a/c in just a few minutes. I asked what the bill would be if I didn't have the warranty. It was three times as much as I paid using Landmark Home Warranty. The only drawback was it took 36 hours for a repairman to come out to my house. But this is Texas. If your air conditioning breaks, it's always is July or August. I'm not the only one needing a repairman

    My garbage disposal was not turning on at all and it was not draining. I called OneGuard and they set me up with a contractor who called within the hour to set up an appointment. When they came by they tried to fix it and when they couldn't they simply replaced it entirely. I still only paid $50 and the entire repair took maybe 40 minutes. From call to service it was maybe 2 days

    A/C went out at night in August 2012, i called Complete Appliance Protection Inc. They issued me a work order number and a contact number of their contractor in the area. I called the repair company and they sent out a repair man the next day. My A/C was up and running by 10:00 am. I am very happy with this company and would recommend them to my friends and family
