"Heavens Tree Service did an incredible job at our house. We had trees over hanging structures and need them removed but we're apprehensive. Heavens Tree Service listened to our concerns and explained the step by step process they would use to remove the trees. This really helped put our minds at ease. They were very knowledgeable and professional. Service was timely and prompt. Their rates are very fair and reasonable. I will definately be using them again. I highly recommend Heavens Tree Service."

"During a very bad wind storm, I had an uprooted large pine that fell on my house, with a good portion of the tree on my roof. At the base the tree was 2' feet in diameter and was about 30' tall. It hovered above a large bedroom window, with an air conditioning condenser directly below it. After asking Home Adviser for help, I received a phone call within about 10 minutes and a visit, by their estimator, to my home within about an hour. Special arrangements were made, because of the danger of the tree on my roof, that the estimator made arrangements to have the tree removed later that day. The estimator was in touch with me through the day until they arrived that same day about 4 hours later. The crew using heavy rope, multiple pulleys, and a come-along, literally pulled the tree upright, back into the hole and away from the house with no additional damage done to the house. They then cut the tree down in a direction away from the house. After the tree was down, they quickly cut it up, cleaned up after themselves and away they went. The price was very reasonable and they all were very pleasant. I highly recommend these guys if you ever have a tree to take down or to remove from your property."

"Amber was very friendly and helpful. She quoted me to drop a tree in a tricky spot and I'd clean up and keep the wood. We agreed they would cut pieces down to about three feet. The original day they were scheduled got delayed due to rain, they attempted to top the tree the next day with guy that was pretty green.. and rescheduled again due to winds . The third day they brought an expert and he topped the tree quickly. They did cut up some of the brush but left very large pieces including an 8 ft by 3 ft trunk. When I asked to cut it smaller, they said they wont cut it unless they are hauling it away. Overall I'm happy with the service but it was a bit more clean up than I expected. I would use them again."

"I started in early May 2022 calling tree companies. I called 6 companies only 3 called me back. One is based out of Delaware too far to justify the work, plus he had limited access to get equipment into the areas where the trees needed to be removed. The other company had a coupon where they would beat any estimated by 15%, needless to say that really did not seem to be the case, the maximum discount would be $200, not what the coupon said. Hoffman Expert tree service came out and provided us with a timely estimate, They were very nice and responsive, did a great job, and we will use them again when we need tree work completed."

Budget over $1,500 if you need a tree removed from your yard that’s larger than 80 feet. Large tree removal is a significant project that requires a crane, and the overall price will increase if the tree is close to your house. Typically, smaller trees can cost as low as $8 per foot to remove, while larger trees (over 80 feet) can cost at least $15 per foot.
To have a fallen tree removed near your home, you can expect to pay between $100 to $500. Your local tree removal professional will most likely just need to cut and remove the tree from your property, but factors like the size of the tree and its trunk diameter impact this cost. In addition, there will be an extra cost to fill in the hole left by the tree, and while you have your tree removal specialist on-site, it might be worth it to have them inspect the other trees in your yard for potential damage. Trees that have fallen onto your home or another structure, will likely be more costly to remove
On average, removing a tree costs around $750, but you can expect to pay between $200 to $2,000. Factors that impact the overall cost include the number of trees you’re having removed, their height, the diameter of their trunks, permits needed, and the tree’s accessibility. You’ll pay more if the tree is in a hard-to-reach area or dangerous location, like close to power lines.
If there are no online reviews, ask them for referrals. If a tree removal company is reputable, you won't be their first client. It's perfectly acceptable to ask for references on your initial call, and if a removal company won't provide referrals, it's time to move on.
Find out what equipment they use. Some types of tree removal equipment are better than others, and a removal company might need special tools to get your particular job done. On your first conversation with a prospective removal company, make sure that you clearly express the nature of the job you want accomplished and receive assurances that the company has the proper equipment.
Consider all of the costs. Always ask for an estimate up-front. Inquire about the job itself and any potential hidden fees that you might not be aware of.
Yes, you will want to confirm that the tree removal company you hire is insured before proceeding with the job. Tree removal can be dangerous work, and it's important to verify that the company carries the proper insurance to cover any onsite accidents or damage.
