"Excellent job. I live in a 3rd floor condo and my heating & air lineset was punctured by a downstairs neighbor hanging a picture. For years unscrupulous servicemen came out and charged me for service visits and freon and short thereafter it would run out again. This went on until I just ended it and brought in portable units in summer and winter. After going on Angie's List, I found Fire and Ice and made a phone call. Joseph came out and went up to my attic area (which no other service company has ever done) and found my line set. To bottomline this, he came out and replace my line set today and for the 1st time in 6 years y'all I HAVE AIR! Very professional, very punctual, and very very reasonably price. My only regret is that I didn't stumble upon him years ago, it definitely would have saved all of the unnecessary expenses. "The worker arrived at the early end of the time slot provided by the company, listened to the "symptoms" I described, made a preliminary diagnosis, and climbed into the attic to examine all the parts of the system he thought might be involved. In short order he had replaced the filter (which had only lasted about half the time it was supposed to, according to the package) and learned that my attic fan was burned out. He reviewed pricing information with me, then contacted the company and arranged for another worker to bring a replacement fan out right away. Once it arrived, he had it installed in just minutes. Of course, I paid more than I wanted to, but I think, overall, it was reasonable (included a service call charge). The worker was friendly and knowledgeable.

"In general it went well, although it took some phone calls as the installer and provider of the gas (Diversified Energy) wanted to charge for the installation and rental of the tank which was supposed to be free of charge according to the contract between "Diversified" and Propane Gas Club of America (PGCA) and contrary to what PGCA offers members.
<br /> It took some coordination between PGCA and Diversified Energy to square things out. Glenn of PGCA was responsive and took care of the problem for me so all I paid for was the 96 gallons of propane the tank came loaded with at a $2.09/Gal.
