If there is food sources and other places to build a nest, wasps may come back after their nest is gone. A wasp is less likely to sting you if you remain still and calm when it lands on your or flies around you. Most wasps only sting when they feel threatened or disturbed, which is how they may interpret rapid movement or swatting. This is why it’s best to suppress movement and wait for the wasp to fly away.
You’re not likely to find water bugs in your house. They may accidentally come in an open door when flying, especially since they are attracted to lights. But water bugs tend to stay stationary in bodies of water. You’re much more likely to see a roach in your home, not a water bug.
Pantry bugs are rarely able to get into sealed packages, but they may try. If you find pests on or around a sealed food item, check inside to make sure the food is still clean.
