Since 1971, Western Mechanical, Inc. began serving the people and businesses of Cache Valley with heating, venting and air conditioning. The business was created by Milford John Egbert, with the influence of his youngest son Jack Egbert, as Egbert Heating. The two men worked out of a car port for their first few years before renting their first shop, then built their own shop in 1974. Milford retired in 1977 turning the business over to his boys. In the summer SWi typically has 12-15 employees and 4-5 crews to ensure the best customer service experience from prompt estimates to on-time installations. Almost all work is self performed so that we can better control the schedule and quality. Typically we collect a deposit at contract acceptance and the remainder at completion. Payment can be made with credit cards but an additional fee will be charged. Cash and checks are always free.
