I park in my garage, in a brand new home. One would think if it was leaking it would see some evidence of fluid leakage somewhere: one the engine, on the floor, no such evidence was found. Also took it in for service one time and all of a sudden the shock for the rear hatch no longer worked. The one on the right side was out of fluid, well if that blew, and would have lost about a forth of a cup of fluid, that fluid had to go somewhere. There was none. I didn't evaporate, it is hydraulic fluid. See the thing is I used to build and race cars in my younger days, so you can't just tell me something because I am older now and expect me to just say, oh okay young man, sure!! The water pump they told me that was the cause of the fluid leak, and needed to be replaced immediately, well I got over 70,000 additional miles on it. Just because a senior citizen walks in the door, doesn't mean he's stupid. They are obviously generating work at the customer's expense. And the date about is a guess, I have no idea when it was, I know I kept the hatch shocks, and the leaky one didn't even match the other side. and like i said, in my spotless well detailed interior, I would have even a drop of oil, not to mention a whole shock full. And to have it fail immediately after I left the shop, within moments. Not buying this at all, and it isn't the factory original like the other, that 2 points of evidence that is highly questionable. I have had other things that failed right after leaving the shop, but to that I can't prove anything, sometimes things could just happen, but some auto businesses find the need to and quot;generate workand quot;. I have worked in the automotive repair industry for good shops, and know there are bad shops out there that use these tactics. At first I really like Laramie GM, I bought everything for our vehicles from them, but they soon lost my trust. I took the truck to a great Mechanic ( Pat Burke ) who lives on my street and he listened to the noise and said he though it could be a valve spring or maybe one of the Hydraulic roller lifters that could be making the noise , but he said he couldn’t be sure until the valve cover on that side was taken off and he could get a better look at it , and said he might also have to remove the head on that side as well . We knew this wasn’t a belt or pulley squeak or squeal because we pulled the Serpentine belt off the truck and started it up and the noise was still there . But then Pat said he couldn’t even touch the truck for over a month because he has to many other repairs ahead of me , and he doesn’t take Master Card or Visa . Pat also advised me not to drive it until I got it fixed . So with that information in hand I talked to my wife and decided to go ahead and call a repair shop that works on engines and can get the truck in for repair. Monday August 12. I looked in the Sheridan , WY Yellow pages for a engine repair shop and found Coffeen Dyno and Repair on 2018 Coffeen Ave. in Sheridan , WY. 82801 ( 307-672-8237 ) . I spoke with the owner and I told him exactly what the Mechanic Pat Burke down the street said about my truck . I asked him if he did engine work and if this was something he could repair and he said : “Yes , but I can’t get it in to fix it until August 20th “ . I said that would be fine and we went ahead and made the appointment for August 20th in the morning to have my truck fixed. Monday August 12th. After I got off the phone from making my appointment with Coffeen Dyno and Repair , I went ahead and called Ted’s Towing and asked if they could tow my truck to Coffeen Dyno and Repair on August 20th for me and have it there first thing in the morning. The woman I spoke with said yes and we made the appointment . She asked me to remind her on August 19th. Monday August 19th: I called Teds towing to remind them to tow my truck to Coffeen Dyno and Repair on the next morning ( August 20th ) and they said they would. I told them it needed to be there first thing in the morning because I had an appointment to have it fixed and they said no problem. Tuesday August 20th. Teds towing showed up at my house by 7:30 am and towed the truck to Coffeen Dyno and Repair , they had it off the truck at Coffeen Dyno and Repair by 8:00 am. and a Coffeen Dyno and Repair guy had my hood opened and was listning to the engine . Tuesday August 20th ( afternoon ) . I stopped by Coffeen Dyno and Repair at 3:45 pm ( 7 hours after delivering it there ) to see what the story was with my truck. They hadn’t done anything at all to it . I asked the owner when he was going to get to my truck and he said as soon as he was done torqueing the bolts down on an engine he was working on , he was going to pull my truck in the garage and take the valve cover off it to see what the problem was . I said Okay and that I will be back tomorrow morning ( Wednesday August 21st ) to check again. Wednesday August 21 - 10:45 am. ( almost a day and a half after delivering the truck to them ) I went down to Coffeen Dyno and Repair . I used my spare truck key and opened my truck door and then opened my trucks hood so I could look at the engine. The Valve cover was never removed and nothing at all had been touched on the truck . So I went inside and talked to the owner and he said “ he went out and listened to it ( after his mechanic already did that on the morning it was delivered there ) and said it might be a main bearing or something simple like a valve spring or lifter , but he won’t know until he has it apart ” . I said: I made an appointment for yesterday morning and here it is a day and a half later and you still haven’t even started on my truck . He said , he had other engine jobs ahead of mine and some had been there for 3 weeks . I said “you should have been up front with me in the beginning when I made my appointment and had my truck towed there “ . He said : “All I can do is apologize and get to it when I can” . I said : “ When will that be , I can’t wait no 3 weeks or more to have my truck fixed” . He said: “ I’m hoping by the end of the week” . I looked at his appointment calendar on his desk and said: “What about all these appointments made after me , and they going to be first” . He said: “Those are all just 1 or 2 hour jobs , we do those in between engine jobs” . I said yeah , but if your that far behind on engine jobs , why keep making more appointments ? He said : “ Again all I can say is sorry and I’ll get to it as soon as I can “. So I left . ( 5 or 6 , 1 or 2 hour jobs eats up a whole day , leaving them with no time to fix the engines they promised people they would fix ) Thursday August 22 I didn’t feel well all day and stayed home. Friday August 23rd I figured I would wait until after lunch and go down to see how my truck was coming along. I rode my motorcycle down to Coffeen Dyno and Repair ( again ) at 1:00 pm . I unlocked my truck and popped the hood and looked at my engine . Again , nothing was touched , not a single nut or bolt . I walked inside and asked the employee how they were doing on my truck . He said: “they hadn’t gotten around to it yet” . I said it’s been here for 4 days , I had an appointment with you guys on the morning of the 20th to fix this truck . He said: “Don’t feel bad , I’ve gotta pull the head of that car ( and pointed to one in the shop ) and it’s been here 3 weeks” . I said , well why do you guys keep taking in more work ( noting his appointment calendar had even more appointments on it than the last time I’d been there ) , I said: “you’d think if you guys are that far behind on the engine jobs you have lined up in front of you , that you would clear your calendar and make time to fix the engines instead of taking in more and more work” . The employee said : “Yeah , you’d think he would” . At this point I asked the employee for my truck keys and informed him I will find another repair shop to fix my truck. Folks , if your vehicle needs engine work done to it. Do not take it to Coffeen Dyno and Repair . They will put it aside and work on it when ever , if ever , while making more and more appointments with other people and doing those smaller jobs ahead of you when you were there first. I was a first time customer at Coffeen Dyno and Repair and I will not go back there. It cost me $56 out of pocket ( my insurance will repay that to me ) to tow my truck there , just to have to have another Repair shop go get my truck . I called 4 different companies listed on Google and they were the only ones who called me back. Not only did they call me back but when I told them it was a time sensitive repair that I needed they (Luke) made it a priority. Within 24 hours the repairs were made and the job was done to...
Did a good job. The hot water heater started leaking after about 11 months and he (Sam) came back and took care of it at no charge. Overall I think he does a great job and is very self conscience about his work.

FAQs for basement leak repair projects in Sheridan, WY
The cost to finish a basement is $18,400 for the average homeowner. However, this cost could be as little as $2,800 or as much as $34,500, depending on the basement size and the materials needed. If your basement is already outfitted with electrical and plumbing, expect the cost to fall on the lower end.
For example, the drywall cost for this project averages around $1,750, but other features, like hiring a plumber, cost between $45 and $200 per hour.
The cost to remodel a basement is between $12,100 and $33,400 for the average homeowner. The price you pay can be as little as $3,500 or as much as $50,200, depending on the size and condition of your basement and the type of remodel you're doing.
If you're doing a simple project like adding a home office to your basement, you can expect to pay anywhere from $500 to $3,000. However, if you're adding a bathroom, which is an extensive project, you can expect to pay between $6,600 to $16,500.
Damp proofing and waterproofing are both methods to help keep your basement dry. Damp proofing keeps soil moisture from entering your basement, which is helpful since your basement is underground. Waterproofing, however, keeps both soil moisture and liquid water out of the basement, which is essential, especially if you live in a wet environment. Because it’s more protective, waterproofing typically costs more than damp proofing.
Although homeowners often use the terms basement remodeling and basement finishing interchangeably, they are quite different terms.
Finishing a basement is the process of taking a basement space that is not habitable and adding elements to make it usable. This includes adding plumbing, flooring, and insulation.
Remodeling a basement means taking an already existing finished basement and changing it, often by adding or removing walls, adding plumbing, or changing the existing flooring.
The cost of basement waterproofing is $4,950 for the average homeowner. However, you could end up paying between $600 and $14,000, depending on factors like basement size, waterproofing method, and the region you live in.
If you live in an area with heavy rainfall, you might be paying more for waterproofing than if you lived somewhere drier since waterproofing contractors would be in high demand. Likewise, a 500-foot basement costs between $2,500and $5,000 to waterproof, but that price rises significantly for a larger basement.
