"The gentlemen were very polite and respectful. They came out the same day for an emergency (a severely clogged drain), which was very much appreciated. However, the problem was not solved, despite assurances that it was. A second company came out and found a piece of an old plumbing snake that had somehow been stuck in the pipe, which was causing the clog. The second company believed that the piece should have been able to be detected (and removed) by Sewer & Drain Specialists during the first check, as it was very large. I am not a plumber, so I can only go by what they tell me. I hate leaving anything but glowing reviews, but it is also important to note when things don't go quite so well, to hopefully avoid the same problem in the future, as it did end up costing double what it should have to fix the problem and almost a week of extra time without working toilets/showers/etc."

Dearing the job we make sure that our stations are clean and we don't leave tools laying around we will use one spot for our tools and when we are done using them they go to that spot, the spot that we will us has to be out of reach of child. "Slow draining tub, a toilet that just won't flush, and some back flow when using the dishwasher left us thinking we just had a major clog.  To our surprise, it was a collapsed sewer line that needed to be replaced.  While there was a 1 week wait due to the time of year and the demands they were expecting, we were more than happy to wait the week.  Work went quickly and smoothly, and was far less intrusive than we anticipated.  Their staff even wore shoe coverings when coming into the house!  Only some minor clean up work was required once they left, which appeared to be an oversight when they cleaned up.  Everything else was back to normal after they left and no problems since."

"The pipes in my house would rattle everytime I ran water.  Every sink and the two toilets would cause a rattle from somewhere deep in the house.  Mr. Machen and an assistant came out within two days of me calling and had figured out what the problem was and had it fixed within a half an hour.  The city had been working outside on the water lines in the street and I pretty much started having problems around the same time, but I didn't think they were related.  Once I told him about this, he made some adjustments and the rattling stopped!  I was very pleased.
