"They arrived on time and completed the work in a timely manner. I was very pleased with their work. They also installed at an earlier time plastic under my house. They even noticed that insulation work I had done by another contractor was not completed. I called the contractor and told him they noticed his work and he came back and finished the job.  I didn't know it at the time, but they also install insulation. I would use them again."

Once you remove all standing water and puddling, you should run fans for 24 to 48 hours to remove the remaining moisture. For severe water damage, it’s a good idea to run them for three to four days to be safe. Make sure you buy or rent the proper size and number of fans for your water-damaged area.

The most efficient ceiling fan height is 8 to 9 feet from the floor to the fan blades. For ceilings higher than 9 feet, a downrod can be used to lower the fan to the optimal height. Never add oil unless the fan is specifically designed for it. Most modern ceiling fans are designed with sealed bearings that don’t require oiling. However, some older fans may have oil ports for lubrication. If your fan is older and you hear squeaking or grinding, check the manual or the manufacturer’s website to see if oiling is recommended.
