"MAC Group did a wonderful job fixing our hill slip and installing a large block retaining wall in front of our home. The work crew Salem, Brandon, Jeremy and Ricky did a great job and were very courteous, diligent, and professional during this project. Even the neighbors walking by commented how courteous the work crew was. Even though this was the first time this team had installed a large block retaining wall, they did an excellent job completing the work and ensuring the excavation, drainage, installation, backfill, and final grading were completed per the Geotechnical Engineers design. The foreman Jacob even moved a couple of small trees for us at the beginning of the project which is much appreciated! We are very pleased with the result and highly recommend MAC Group to anyone considering them for their next project! Thanks again for all your help! David "

There are many ways to cut through roots when digging, especially if your trencher doesn’t seem to be removing the roots. First, use a shovel to expose the roots. Boring is more precise and expensive, and it’s best for installing utilities underneath buildings, roads, and bodies of water. Trenching is simpler but can cause more disruption to landscaping and ecosystems.
