"The owner and assistant arrived at the appointed time. They discovered where the pluggage was located. It seemed they were reluctant to bring in tools until there was no alternative. They pointed out issues with the plumbing and stated we would have plugs frequently. Of course they could fix the issues at a cost. We’ve lived in this house for 17 years and have only had two drain issues when plumbers were needed. Our problems were preventable."

The size needed for your expansion tank is determined by the size of your home's water heater. Expansion tanks are available in 2-gallon and 4.5-gallon sizes. A 2-gallon tank will be appropriate for water heaters up to 50 gallons. An adequately sized tank should have a volume that equals 2% to 5% of the water volume within the system.
