"Chris did a phenomenal job. He was friendly and knowledable on how to properly build a retaining wall. The original home owners just threw it up on a wing and a prayer. Chris removed excess dirt, added stone in behind it, geogrid, pinned the brick and drain pipes and mulched and seeded it. Surface-level tree roots might only pose a small threat, such as being a tripping hazard or obstacle when you mow your lawn. But if mature tree roots start growing in the direction of your home’s foundation or plumbing system, it could be a real problem.
