I have been a maintenance person and handyman for 4 years now. I got my start in Washington state helping low-income properties remain in working order. I was also a pest control professional in Washington and I know how to tackle just about any problem you might have. I've built chicken coops on utility trailers, decks, fencing, a chevron fireplace veneer, and furniture. I've repaired water heaters, fridges, microwaves, sinks, ovens, ranges, washing machines, dryers , light electrical systems, drywall, light plumbing, and more. My wife and I moved back to West Virginia to be closer to our families. I love this kind of work and would be honored to be hired for your next job.

No, vinegar cannot kill bamboo. Common household chemicals like vinegar and even bleach are unlikely to kill bamboo, and they may only have minimal effect on bamboo roots. If you’re on the hunt for scorpions in your home, invest in a UV light, as all scorpions will glow under UV rays.

To clean a trash can with maggots, combine chlorine bleach and hot water in a 1-to-1 ratio and pour about half a gallon of the solution into the bottom of your garbage can. Just make sure there aren’t holes in the can before doing so. Close the lid, and let the fumes go to work to kill the maggots. Rinse the can with a hose outside. Consider finishing up with a bleach disinfectant and a scrub brush before letting the can dry completely.
