Small jobs welcome

"I had Premium Coat Painters paint the outside of my house and they did a really good job. I?m not the best with this kind of stuff, but I could tell they knew what they were doing. They showed up on time, fixed up the old paint, and made my house look way better. The outside looks fresh and clean now, and my neighbors even noticed it. The crew was nice, cleaned up after they were done, and made the whole thing pretty easy for me. I?m very happy with how it turned out and would recommend them to anyone needing their house painted."

"TJ and his crew are knowledgeable, professional and courteous. They arrived on time and completed the repair in the time they estimated. The leak over the garage door trim was stopped and the area has been waterproofed. They did a great job, cleaned up the work area and removed all debris. The repair cost was reasonable. The water leaking in the garage area whenever it rained was a nightmare. We are thankful for professionals like TJ. We would hire him again for other repairs. Thank you."

"Good reasonable pricing and quick response. The job was Powerwashing a rather large and complex area damaged by fire. The work was done on schedule in a timely way. Mr. Valentine provided good communication but work done on handshake until we asked for a contract (just good practice for all parties). I intend to hire Valentine Painting to return and paint the entire interior structure after repairs are made."

"Jesus was very prompt and professional.  He patiently answered all of my questions about every detail of the process and material involved in replacing my asphalt shingle roof.  He communicated clearly and quickly and his estimate was very competitive.  His crew showed-up and worked very efficiently over two days.  They paid attention to details and cleaned-up afterwards.  I am very happy with the quality of the work and most especially the feeling that Jesus and his crew genuinely cared about doing the job right.  I would definitely recommend them to others.

Painting questions, answered by experts

An exterior paint job typically lasts between 5 and 10 years, though this can range from 3 to 17 years depending on several factors. The longevity is influenced by the quality of the paint and primer, the quality of the application, the local climate, and the type of surface being painted. For example, paint on wood siding may need to be redone every 3 to 7 years, while painted brick can last up to 17 years. Aluminum siding often needs repainting every 5 years.

Yes, you can paint a chain-link fence, but you don’t want to use spray paint. With the spray method, you’ll be losing a majority of your product to the air, given the size of the gaps in chain-link fences. Instead, use a paintbrush for your fence posts and a paint roller for the wire.

Choose based on climate, finish preference (glossy, matte), and durability. Tailored coatings also provide longevity.

Routine staining or sealing and periodic inspections to extend life.

Both a roller and a brush are effective methods for painting a chain link fence. A roller will make the job easier by ensuring symmetrical strokes and reaching the backside of the fence as well, which cuts down on paint time. However, a brush is often necessary for painting the base of the fence and near the posts due to its ease of reaching smaller spaces.
