Typically, fleas won’t take up residence in human hair. Their natural preference is to live on the fur of animals, but they can bite and infest humans on a temporary basis. Simply spray this solution over and around the locations you expect mice to be living and running through, and the homemade disinfectant will do its job to rid your home of any feces and urine particles you could be exposed to.

Some of the best smells for keeping squirrels away are those that have a spicy or pungent odor. This includes pepper, garlic powder, vinegar, mint, and coffee. Just be careful when handling cayenne or chili pepper. Don’t touch your face to prevent getting some in your eyes, and be sure to keep it away from children and pets.

Bleach can technically kill drain flies, but it’s not really a great tool for getting rid of an infestation. Bleach flows down your pipes too quickly to penetrate the film where drain flies lay their eggs. Alternatively, you can use it to clean around drains, which can help prevent drain flies from returning once you get rid of the infestation.
