He explained his quote that met our qualifications while offering helpful suggestions. In offering those suggestions he did not change the scope of the project or up-sale. He was responsive and showed up on site prepared to do the job on the agreed upon date. He completed on the agreed upon date. His estimate was off on the amount of man hours to complete the project. He estimated 3 hours it took him closer to 9 hours to complete. I offered to pay him for the extra hours and he wouldn't accept it. We paid what was on the quote.
